Lots of ants in our room

I really liked the rooms, the beds are really nice, and the service was really good. We did a little trekking to Australia base camp and weren’t that comfortable with the guide provided, but the manager was really understanding and helped to find a solution.

The owner and staff are nice but feel a little insisting on trying to sell you services (arrange treks, buses, food...). I guess it comes handy for people who haven't planned anything and are looking for help for organising things, but if you don't it feels a little pushy. Also we wished they had hot showers, especially after coming back from a trek.

Great location and really nice garden. It feels relaxing and it's a good value. They're nice and can keep your bags when you go trekking.

but the facility was pathetic. Very very poor customer service. No towel, no toilet paper, no water bottle/cups, no soap in washroom. We had paid advance through fonepay. So were kind of compelled to stay. The booking was made through booking.com initially but they said they dont take that booking and cannot honor the price from booking.com and I was asked to pay NRS 1000 more than the price in booking.com. i was asked to cancelled the order in booking.com and send NRS1000 via fonepay. I did as asked thinking i would get the high service and trusted the rating. When i arrived, rooms were not clean, no toilet paper, smelling molded rooms , no soap, no towel, i had to ask for everything. They knew we were coming still nothing was in place. We had plan to stay 2 nights but left the very next day and moved to better place.

I think they're working on getting a kitchen set up, but there's already a nice big guest area with chairs and tables in the garden, and plenty of restaurants right next door so it's not a problem at all really.

The staff was super friendly, the location was excellent, right near the lakeside but up off the main road just enough to be quiet, there's a lovely garden at the entrance too shielding you from the street. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean, water gets nice and hot in the shower after 20 seconds or so, all in all New Elia gets it right :)

Fan regulator not working correctly so the fan is either off or on full power - advised the staff of this and they offered to let me switch rooms but I said it was fine for my short stay.

Location is smack dab in the middle of Lakeside. Close walking distance to all the restaurants, shops, cafes and lake. Staff is super nice and helpful. Room 302 is large and with a double bed and single bed. Cute little balcony and view of a snow peaked mountain in the distance.

I have had such a great stay here. The owner is so friendly! Always up for a chat and to help out with anything. It's in a perfect location - close to the lake and right near many cafes, restaurants and shops. My room was very spacious and comfortable. Will definitely be returning here if I come back to Pokhara.
