Place was nice and cozy. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Location was less than 5 minute walk from Phewa lake. Instead of high commode the room we stayed in had low commode. And no bidet. Other than that our stay was good.

Charging for water, basic rooms are really basic, but have bathroom attached which is a plus :) been too cold under the blanket only one night.

Nice sitting area, garden, WiFi, friendly staff that kept our bags when went trekking for two weeks. Nice place :)

Hot drinking water was not readily available and we had to pay everytime we refilled our water bottles with drinking water.

New Tourist Guest House is run by a very friendly family and staff. The location a little south of lakeside is a max. 10 minute walk from the center and still surrounded by shops, restaurants, bars and other hotels. It has a cute little yard to relax.

Shower was not working properly. Slippers were super old. Just very small issues I think.

For the price range, I think its the best one. We were there at the new year eve so price went little up but its was a good stay so far as we booked it last moment.

The location is really good, the garden is pretty, and the room and bathroom are clean. The owner and staff are all friendly, and the hot water comes out really well. There are restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, and a lake nearby. It's a perfect location. I had a comfortable rest. Thank you~^^~

Not much to say really. Wasn't much space to hang kayaking kit up in the room, but I doubt that's a common complaint!

Super friendly at all points during the stay - lovely people to chat to while passing through reception/garden. Very quiet location, but still close enough to the main tourist centre. Very helpful with storing bags, booking taxis and booking a room when we weren't sure on exact dates. Garden felt safe to store 2 kayaks while we were there. Room was very clean.

It was a special hostel with a home-like environment. The room was spacious. I like the trees, and plants around the property. The location was very convenient too.

Although there was plenty of natural light, the indoor lighting in the room was a bit inadequate. It's important to note that this place is more suited for friends and young couples.

The place was excellent for a budget trip, offering a variety of rooms at different price points. This flexibility is perfect for budget travelers. The property wasn't a stuffy building but had a lovely front yard, adding to its charm. Most importantly, the staff were exceptionally friendly and considerate. Despite booking a budget room, we were encouraged to explore other options and choose the one we preferred. My partner and I chose a budget room with low expectations, but we were surprised. The room was very clean, as was the toilet. They even provided extra towels and slippers. The location was also great. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.

This is my second visit in New Tourist Guest House and it was as good as last time. It's quiet, in a perfect location, run by a kind family and the garden offers such nice, calm surroundings. Room was really clean and comfortable.

I have no objections. The standard is more than adequate to the price.

Stuff was very kind, helpful, and beneficial for the visitors. The location couldn't be better- it's 2' from the main street in Pokhara and the road is very calm. We did not go for breakfast, so I cannot refer. The room was the best I've seen in Nepal traveling to different regions, in terms of design, comfort, and cleanness!

The room we had did not have much privacy, so we had the curtains shut most of the time we were in the room, as people walked by our windows a lot. The rooms also have a typical Nepal squat toilet which we don't mind but be aware of this if you prefer a Western toilet. No toilet paper provided.

The family welcomed us so kindly, but that's Nepal for you. The room had so much sunlight with lots of windows you can open for fresh air, there was space to place our belongings, a decent sized bathroom, the power and wifi is good, it is quiet at night time. We were able to do some hand washing of our clothes outside and hang them to dry which is very handy! The location was good for us as it is out of the central hustle of Pokhara but close enough for walking to restaurants and the lake. The family was very helpful with all our queries and we would 100% stay again!
