It was a quiet setting with outlook to the farms. The management and staff were wonderful. We also took a very cheap but excellent tour to the Durbar square and an arranged transfer to the airport.

- easily the best accommodation of our trip - stunning location with beautiful views from our room - very friendly, attentive and helpful staff - very quiet (although that might be different when the hotel is fully booked) - very nice room with large, comfy beds. Lots of space for our stuff. - brilliant restaurant with excellent Italian and very good Nepalese cuisine - excellent breakfast with a huge selection

Nice room, beautiful view, amazing food, nice staff, super organized with the best tours ever. Tours are really special and they will let you discover the real Hindu and Buddhist culture. They also talk many languages!

A real family hotel: the ambiance is truly relaxed and welcoming. Everyone was so nice and forthcoming it felt like home. The food, both breakfast and dinner and both local as western kitchen, was delicious. The garden is great and has amazing views. A tour of Bhaktapur by the manager can be booked easily, was individualized and was very informative on local culture and heritage.

We had a wonderful time in Planet Bhaktapur Hotel. During the 9 days festival season we enjoyed the silence and peace in their beautiful garden and the only short walk to city center. It was a warm and familiar atmosphere, the Nepali and Italian food was varied and delicous. You can also do a cooking class or book a Yoga lesson. After our Trek to ABC we really enjoyed the hot shower with best water pressure in Nepal. The Hotel Manager is also a guide and gave a lot of background information and suggestions for excursions. Many thanks to the very helpful Hotel team making our stay in Bhaktapur so special.

This place is an oasis of peace. Just outside the center of Bhaktapur, it will give you some calm and silence after the hustle and bustle of the cities. I spent the first half day in the wonderful garden, just enjoying the calm and relaxation. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast was delicious.

Planet Bhaktapur Hotel is ideally situated away from the bustle and noise yet the old town is conveniently near. Room and bed comfortable, garden delightful, menu has ample choices, both Italian and Nepali, and all delicious. Super nice, helpful staff.

It was all good.

The room was spacious, very clean with aircon/fan/TV - everything you need - with a lovely view. There's well-maintained, pretty gardens and an inner courtyard. The private bathroom had an excellent shower - better than my one at home! The hotel is well-decorated with interesting art work from the local area.

I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to go away from the city hustle and bustle. The location was peaceful and quiet. Overall service was great and the staff was really friendly and cordial. Really enjoyed the experience.

We have no complaints. The staff were so warm and inviting that we felt pampered. When you stay here you don't feel like a guest, you feel like part of a small family. They were quick to help arrange a cab for us to our next destination, even our driver was the most courteous we've had in Nepal. It was the safest I have felt in Nepal traffic. :)

The food was exceptional and the staff was courteous and accommodating. The location is quiet, and an excellent place to get away from the noise of the main streets, but a reasonable walk or short taxi from the Durbar. I would recommend Hotel Bhaktipur to anyone looking for a quiet getaway on their trip to Bhaktapur.

Great service: driver picked me up from the airport, also almost one day driver to bring me to friends in Kathmandu. Very nice people. On arrival I could choose which room I liked most! Wifi was excellent. Location is great: just 10 minutes walk to Bhaktapur old town. Beautiful garden with flowers.

Great location away from the crowds but close enough for visiting all the sights. Spacious rooms, stroll around grounds, attentive, helpful staff, super restaurant. Loved it here.
