Very good hotel with perfect location in the centre of Tamel in quiet place. Breakfast was reach and was served very early. The communications fast and helpful. Pefect and spacious place for group accommodation for me since couple of years.

The facilities and the room were outdated and old. They should have renovated them. At least should have cleaned/painted the walls, cleaned the chair. But, bed sheets were clean. I think it is same for all the hotels in the Thamel area. I did not like the breakfast, it was poor comoared to the hotel I prevoiusly stayed in.

The personal is really good people and the quiteness of the area by being located away from the noisy roads of Thamel was a win. I felt safe as a solo female traveller, which was important for me.

Once I made the booking through Booking.com, received a message from Mr.Keshab Khanal introducing himself and mentioned to contact him for any assistance required for our stay. Again on the day of our arrival, received a message enquiring about our arrival time. That's a great way of welcoming. As I had earlier booked a room with 3 beds, the hotel themselves changed to a better room to accommodate 4 of us. The stay was pleasant. Location in the heart of the city. With numerous shops, restaurants and money exchanges around. Superb breakfast. Rooms were cleaned every day. And all staff were very helpful. Mr.Keshab was in touch throughout our stay of 4 days. Thank you.

As a seasoned traveler, I find it difficult to put into words how exceptional this hotel is—it truly exceeds every expectation. .

First and foremost, the food is absolutely fantastic. The chef ensures that every customer receives a top-quality breakfast, making it a memorable start to the day. Having traveled to over 40 countries, I can confidently say that it’s rare to find such a dedicated cooking staff outside of a Michelin 3-star restaurant. The management team is equally exceptional, going out of their way to assist with navigating around Nepal and making the experience smooth and enjoyable. The front desk staff are super friendly and courteous, always greeting guests with warm smiles. The doorman welcomes each guest with genuine hospitality, adding a personal touch to the stay.

The rooms in Samsara are spacious and comfortable. Perfect for a stop in Kathmandu. I was working and appreciated having a desk and fast wifi. I will absolutely be back and recommend it anyone who wants to explore Tamel but needs a nice quiet room at night.

A beautifully designed Hotel and well located within best part of Thamel. Highly recommended to any single or group seeking a place of stay from walking distance from Hanuman Dhoka and Kumari Palace. Even food is equally delicious and pocket friendly compared to steet restaurant.

The only downside is noise from other guests which is sadly pretty normal anywhere. When people are noisy in the corridors there isn't much you can do but tell them to be quiet. I'm not sure that much can be done about that though.

This is a great hotel in Thamel. Compared to many similar standard hotels around the area, this stands out. It's really clean, the facilities are good. The room and bathroom are well kept. The plumbing is modern and the showers are hot! No dripping taps or cracked tiles like so many other places have... these things really matter! Air con is quiet and efficient, lovely big windows open for fresh air. Great garden where you can take your breakfast and the staff are lovely and helpful. It's a great place and I'll happily book The Samsara again.

May be everything I liked. Airport pickup service & service of the relationship officer along with their manager Mr Keshab was very warming and helpful. Decor & cleanliness of the room, service of the room attendant, & off course there complimentary breakfast was really great. One morning we've missed our breakfast for the reason of our delayed Everest flight. But they managed to serve fresh breakfast for us. Last but not the least it was most enjoyable but affordable visit at this property.

The wifi didn't reach my room (top floor) so I had to either go to the rooftop common area or lobby to get connected.

Super location with a very large and comfortable room. The hotel also had free airport pickup which was such a relief. Excellent perk! The staff was very nice and they served a tasty Western-style continental breakfast every morning.

The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but not the worst. Lighting in room was a little low.

The location was amazing for me - not right in the middle of Thamel, but very close. I also liked that the building is set on a relatively big land area for guests to roam. The airport pickup facility for a hotel in this price range is unbelievable amazing value. Mr. Keshav was so hospitable and along with all other hotel staff, made the stay so incredibly great!

Not a unique problem for boutique hotels, but the beds were not too comfortable.

Love that Samsara the rooms were spacious, clean, and even had a big window with garden view. The complimentary airport pick-up is also a cool bonus. Soon after i booked the room, Mr. Keshav contacted me and collected my flight timing - and on the day of flight, I had a pick-up car ready and waiting for me. The best part of the hotel are its staff members. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay!

I like everything in this hotel. Nothing to complain. Will definitely revisit this hotel for family stay.

Following are my personal experience about the stay in the hotel: 1. Location : Great. You can reach all most all tourist places easily. 2. Staff : Great. Very polite staff. Checkin, checkout and all requests are addressed very decently, politely and well mannered. 3. Room cleanliness and room service : Superb. AC, toilets, bed, outdoor views, space and all amenities inside room are really well maintained. 4. Buffet Breakfast : Very healthy, tasty, neat and clean food. 5. Peaceful: No noise, even though it is in the main market. Surprisingly. 6. Enough parking space: for your Car. 7. Good security at gate 8. Very attractive entrance, lounge, outside park to rest and watch nature. I enjoyed everything at Samsara Boutique hotel and really recommend this hotel for family stay. I can't write anything regarding this as hotel suffice all my needs my family wants.

1. Hotel location near thamel market and LOD (Lord of drinks). 2. Airport pickup facility. 3. Spacious rooms with all the facilities a family needs eg electric kettle, small refrigerator, super good breakfast. 4 Nice and cooperative staff. 5 garden for night walk .
