How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

-The floor in the room was a bit dirty and you'll need slippers for the floorboards. -Pool use required an extra charge. -TV needed more English content.
The staff, food and room were great. It set a very high bar for my first time in Nepal. I'm already booked to stay again once I'm back in Kathmandu.

The day spa needs some updating and to hire properly trained massage therapists, put some spa music on and have candles. The ladies were lovely but massage not amazing.
The food was lovely, the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The staff, hands down the staff are amazing! The hotel is a beautiful property, and the food was great, with an excellent spa service. The rooms are clean and warm. It is definitely value for money. The only thing I did not like is that it is not central. If you are visiting Kathmandu for the first time, you should get a hotel in Thamel, but if you are like me, and you are at the tail end of your trip to Nepal and heading back home and don't care much to walk around, then this a great hotel. I spent only one day and night here, and I was looking for a property where I can get a message and relax at the hotel before my early morning flight and this was great place for that. I loved the staff!!

HA HA HA nothing to fault at all.
There is only one thing to say is that the BEST HOTEL I STAYED IN KATHMANDU NOT FAULT AT ALL EVERY TIME I AM IN KATHMANDU I HAVE STAYED IN THIS HOTEL I AM IN NEPAL FOR LAST THREE MONTHS AND THE BEST HOTEL I AM TRYING TO FIND ANY FAULT BUT CAN NOT KIND I WILL UP LOAD THE PHOTOS IN SHORT TIME YOU ALL CAN SEE FOR YOURSELF. only thing lacking a little was the breakfast which could have been improved, and you have to make your own instant coffee
The staff here were absolutely lovely, and really go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need, especially one of the younger guys on reception, didn’t catch a name. I stayed two nights in their super spacious rooms, shower was powerful and steaming hot, and in a lovely peaceful area, absolutely brilliant value for money, and a perfect return to Kathmandu for a rest after trekking, highly recommend !

Nothing except that the swimming pool is quite cold.
The property is very clean, comfortable and the staff is attentive. The gym is well equipped and the breakfast is tasty.

Everything was perfect! The room was nice and clean, bathroom included. Staff was very helpful with literally everything. Always very polite and asking if they can help somehow. Airport transport was maybe a bit overpriced but also worked very well so I didn't mind paying a few dollars extra. Full and unlimited recommendation!

The pool was not heated so water was very cold, hotel is far from main center spots so if you want to go casino, party or other similar places late night, you have to plan ahead as you will need to arrange taxi to come back. One more thing was my wife's birthday was there. So I asked the staff to arrange cake. They were not able to arrange the cake but they said they will provide brownie in room sharp 12 am. I was waiting but no one showed up and nothing was given so I was unable to celebrate wife birthday at 12 am with a cake or even a brownie. Next day too no one communicated anything to me if they forgot.
We loved the location of the hotel. Very peaceful and outskirts. The service of staff was very good and very friendly and kind. Everything was amazing. Mr. Shambu Younjan Lama the manager made sure we had a great stay and also provided us a good package with bigger room. He made sure that we were satisfied with our stay. The hotel arranged taxi for us at good prices. We will come back soon.
