How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very quite and peaceful atmosphere with great location at walking distance to lake and from restaurants and shops. Rooms are really clean with all facilities with an amazing view.Hotel staffs are exceptional caring and helpful with great service.Morning Breakfast was amazing delicious which was served in beautiful garden of property. Will look forward stay here again soon !! I highly recommend !!

Beautiful small cozy sunny garden with perfect breakfast and friendly staffs made us more happiness , we got all information about tour and sight seeing on the hotel travel desk with reasonable price ,centrally located hotel into the lake lake side , this is very easy walk around near by for dinner and bar around .Silver oaks inn hotel is one of the best hotel in pokhara .

The restaurant wasn’t operational since February is non season. There were power cuts
Location was fine, in the Lake road. Room was okay, bathroom looked excellent.

When I arrived, the manager told me that he will take me to their “front building” because they were all booked up in their main building. He then led me to the North Face Inn, an entirely different hotel. I asked if there would be a price difference and he said no. But online it is listed as a few dollars less than Silver Oak. Super disappointing that someone would do such a thing. I wish he had just been honest, apologized for the inconvenience then charged me the actual price of the North Face Inn plus a discount.
I got what I needed, however..

They didn’t provide anything in room. Just a small soap, 1 bottle of water & 2 towels. It’s frustrating because we booked a big room & paid a lot. Their breakfast is just a bread & egg nothing else. Also don’t book any tour plan or bike from them. They will scam you. I have been Nepal for 3 times but this is the worst. They behave very friendly but on the other hand they just Scamming you.
Only the location is good but it’s not value for money at all.

Hotel location is ideal, very near to lakeside. Rooms are big and staff is very helpful. We stayed in this property twice, before and after our ABC trek. Hotel even helped us in getting guide cum potter for our ABC Trek. Will definitely stay again in my next Pokhara visit.

Room size no balcony
It was a last minute booking so may be that's why, but the room was not up to the details of booking expectation. It was a short stay so I dont mind. Will definitely visit again, just to meet kuku the retriever :)

No lift, we had a small baby and always struggled by taking steps. The rooms are not clean, especially no basic amenities in the room and bathroom
Location was good, this place is good for backpackers not for family

I accidentally went to the right room on the wrong floor. In doing so I discovered my key worked on other room padlocks!

I don't have any comments.. I've paid additional amount Rs. 1000.00 for air conditioner. But I didn't ask for extra money for using celling fan, wash room and bed like I've charged for AC as well.
