Amazing service. From the moment we arrived, the owner and his staff went out of their way to make us comfortable, safe, and enjoy our time. The owner (a tour guide himself) very quickly arranged a great 2 day tour of the national park with one of the top 5 rated guides in the area at a very reasonable price. Request the guide named Hem if available, extremely knowledgeable, fun and enthusiastic guide with 30 years experience.

bad smell in bathroom/toilet and bathroom door couldn't be closed properly to keep the smell from entering bedroom. Maybe the drain needs cleaning or some disinfectant poured down the drain to kill that bad smell.

friendly staff, beautiful tranquil setting, comfortable bed, relaxed atmosphere, a few minutes walk to main tourist/shopping area and riverside.

- The rooms are quite old and I'm upset because the garden is so amazing and you can see that they care but the rooms are just old and a bit worn out in a sense (almost like they don't care). Like if they washed the curtains and the blue piece of the material that covers the bed (awful stains) room would be so much nicer, but the rest is all nice really would recommend

- beautiful garden, plenty of outdoor space to sit (with cover from the sun and fans!!!) - we had AC and a fan room, the fan would be enough but it was like 6€ and that was the only room available :) - The staff is super nice! We had breakfast included which was great, and they dropped us at the bus stop for free - I LOVED that there was a mirror in the room, I didn't have o walk into the wet bathroom - walking distance from the town

I didn't like that whatever facilities that they listed on the app didn't match at all... they should correct that... its false information... also the details abt the room was wayyyy off... dont put stuff you don't offer .. also we had a broken down water kettle on our room... that was put together from falling apart with duct tape

For forest traveling they are asking more money 2200:...i booked with 1800 for ride. They should make less price for their hotel guests.

The shower could be improved. It was cold and the pressure was quite low.

This was a really nice place to relax for a couple of days! The people were really nice and the food very good, always freshly cooked. Also very close to the town but still in a very chill area.

Nothing really. It was an awesome experience.

The location was so convenient, just a km away from the main tourist attractions. The greenery of this hotel was very peaceful and calming. The rooms were clean and it also had an AC. The attached bathroom was proper as well. Tasty breakfast was served both days of our stay and for free as a loyalty scheme. The staff was good, the always smiling gentleman was always happy to help us. They also provide safari facilities to watch elephants, rhinos and other animals in the jungle and we can also watch local tharu culture. The parking is also safe and with roof for bikes. We really loved the stay here.

Although the walking tour was really fun and our guides were incredible, the price they quoted us for a 2 day walking safari was more than other companies in Sauraha. This could be because our guides were really experienced and they organised 3 meals a day for us, including accommodations for the night. I just advise that you do some research into other companies and gauge prices before making a decision. They don’t seem to have any women working at the hotel, in reception or the kitchen. I don’t know if this is a conscious decision or not, but I just found it a bit odd.

It was only 12AUD a night so I thought there would be some sort of catch, but the hotel was lovely. The rooms were spacious and clean with air conditioning and private bathrooms. There’s a really nice garden area too. The staff were accomodating and friendly. I would recommend eating at the hotel too! We would just call late in the afternoon and order what we wanted off the menu. They’d ask what time we wanted and they were always right on time - to the minute. Definitely have the Dal bhat, it was heavenly! They offer activities through the hotel like walking jungle safaris and things to do with Chitwan National park. I loved the jungle tour - I saw so many animals like rhinos, tortoises and monkeys! Please avoid all elephant rides and things to do with elephant tourism!

It takes long to get food, sometimes the breakfast is later than agreed, which is inconvenient when you have some plans. Food is just average and quite expensive on Nepal standards. So are the tours to the jungle, we went with an in town agency instead. Also, the complimentary breakfast is very inconsistent: sometimes just a small pancake, sometimes full western breakfast- but I am not complaining at this price point.

This hotel is crazy good value. Probably the best room we have had in Nepal, and the cheapest as well (except for free mountain lodges), with AC and even with breakfast. Clean on Nepalese standards. Staff is attendant and pleasant to deal with.
