The private room was very nice and clean. The location for nice , it was a happening Street. The guy at reception helped me when i was facing some issue with all smiles. Me and my partner was very happy during the stay.

In the female dorm next to the female bathroom there is noise when people are using the shower. I woke up early because of this. Also showers and toilets could be cleaner.

Very friendly personnel and perfect location. Nice outside terrace too.

The whole hostel was populated a large group of students ( close 50) from Israel. I felt intimidated n scared

the bathrooms weren't super user friendly- the shower for instance only had one hook on the outside and no rail so it was impossible to find somewhere to put all your stuff. also when i was taking a shower, someone turned either a tap/shower on or flushed the toilet and the rest of my shower was just cold... rooms were very sparse and the floor looked kinda dirty...there was nowhere other than lockers to put your things and there was only one hook at the end of your bed for you to hang things. they don't have a luggage storage facility - you can only leave your bag in between two couches in the social area, which didn't feel hugely safe.

1. This hostel is just another place for backpackers coming from nearby treks who need all the basic amenities. They don't have any inhouse activities, the common areas are kinda dull most of the times. 2. The staff is most of the times clueless about any local information. They would mostly repeat the information you might already know. 3. Poor ventaliton of air inside dorms.

1. The hostel is at a great location, although being in Thamel, it is a cosy space to spend your time. 2. This has been the cleanest hostel I have ever been to. They have one common washroom but extremely clean. 3. The bar is fully functional, with a really good menu. Food is great! 4. The dorm has enough space to keep your backpack.

It was so noisy! I’ve stayed at many hostels before but this one was so loud. Although, I believe it was the location so not much the hostel can do about that.

Location was great. Staff were really chatty and super helpful.

The common area is open, so it gets quite cold in the mornings and evenings. Shower heads splash water all over the place, which was a bit frustrating. My main concern was that the rooms were open with no locks at the door and you couldn't even close it properly, so anyone could just walk right in. Also, apparently everyone except for me could check-in 24/7, which resulted in groups of people coming into the room in the middle of the night; the staff knocked on the door loudly and shouted "I'm coming in now" and chatted to the new guests in a loud voice, even at 2 am. I'd prefer if they had a closed check-in window to not disturb other guest's sleep.

Big common area and roof terrace with inhouse restaurant/café that offers delicious food. Travel desk to plan your trips. The rooms are spacious, very clean bed linen and towels. The staff was friendly and helpful, loved that they remembered my name.

No hot water at shower. It was hard to find when arriving because it’s hidden in an alley and also up stairs.

Friendly helpful staff, someone is at front desk all 24 hr. Relatively quiet at night. Basic room but high ceilings.

The room was a bit hot and there were no fans or air conditioning. Probably Kathmandu was under the heat wave, however, I had a bit of a difficult time due to the heat. A table fan was arranged for me, however, when I went outside for sometime it was gone. Somehow I managed to find another one after a bit of struggle, however, I would recommend the hostel owner to install fans in the room.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom were clean. I also liked the area near reception where you can chill out and watch TV, eat and relax.

The music was on the whole so loud and repetitive, it became like white noise eventually, and it made it actually one of the least social hostels I’ve been to!

Paid for a private room with bathroom. Warm water wasn't working and staff refused to reimburse price. Dorm showers smelled like sewage and out of 5 or 6 only two had warm water.

The travel agency. Gave me wrong information and was a massive rip off. I wouldn’t recommend booking with Ram and this is also why I didn’t come back to this hostel.

Its not a party hostel but they dont stop music at night 01:00 and you cant pay in check-out… that hostel good but all about money!

I had a private room and the hot water didn’t work so had to use the common ones. Street noise non-stop at night making it uncomfortable to sleep.

Great staff, common area and excellent location. They keep your extra bag while going hiking for a small fee. ATMs right by the hostel.
