There was nothing we didn’t like. It was perfect.

The owner, Brenda, was very friendly and welcomed us into her home. It was very comfortable and she made sure we had everything we needed. We loved the little personal touches of flowers in our room and the choice of teas and coffee. The bed was super comfy. The garden was beautiful with a stunning view of Christchurch and the ocean and we could see Kaikoura in the distance. Breakfast was very good with homemade granola, home grown stewed fruit and homemade jams as well as cooked options. Brenda is a really lovely lady and made us feel very much at home. We also made friends with Frankie her black Labrador.

Brenda was an extraordinarily host going above and beyond for her guests. The breakfast was made to order and had variety to suit all tastes. The views from the house are exceptional. The bed was very comfortable and all amenities required available.

Brenda is the most welcoming host you can imagine. Her lovely house has amazing views over the city, and she does everything in her power to make you feel like home. The bed is really comfortable and the breakfast is big and healthy. If you love dogs: get ready for cuddling Frankie - the perfect black lab that adores belly rubs.

Fantastic position. Beautifully appointed - a true home from home. Every comfort had been thought of. The use of a sitting room was a great benefit. The views from Bea’s house are something to behold. Freshly cut flowers in the bedroom and bathroom were a lovely touch. Breakfast consisted of fresh fruit from Bea’s garden, homemade granola and jams, and scrambled eggs or freshly made corn fritters. In fact, Bea had thought of everything we might need to make our stay comfortable.

This was quite simply the best b&b we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Brenda went above and beyond to meet any conceivable expectation, she is a natural hostess! Brendas' homemade breakfasts were delicious, the flowers in every room just beautiful and the location was superb. Frankie her dog just added to the homely feel. A great end to our visit to New Zealand.

You will be living at Brenda’s house as you stay, sharing the living and dining room. The views and the garden are stunning and the house is beautifully and tastefully decorated. Brenda is a fantastic host (a one-off 😉), very welcoming and helpful. Welcoming and entertaining people is just natural for her. The homy feeling will get to you. Franckie, her Labrador, makes the feeling even stronger. The rooms are perfect. The quality of the bedding is lovely and comfortable. And there will always be a little fresh flower somewhere to enhance the experience . Don’t miss Breakfast, it is majestic!

This stay completed my travel! Brenda is so nice and happy to introduce everything here, from the mountains to the restaurants. It helped me feel the local culture and life style, let alone the beautiful landscape including mountains, ocean and cities.

The best bnb ever - stay here if you possibly can. This is an amazing place, very unique with eclectic collection of qualuty furnishings that just works incredibly well. The host is a 'people person' and an absolute joy. The old saying 'arrive as strangers leave as friends' is true here. Additionally everything a traveller could possibly need (and more) has been provided. The views are absolutely outstanding, and it is nice to be overlooking Christchurch to have the city on your doorstep, but to stay in a quality place and location away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Frankie, the dog, is very sweet and very undemanding and placid.
