How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Although the room looked tidy on arrival, we were disappointed to find food wrappers left inside the drawers. During the night, the toilet paper holder came off the wall, giving everyone a fright. Rooms aren’t serviced daily unless requested, and when we did ask, all that was done was a pile of fresh towels left on one of the beds and a box of rubbish taken away — not the proper service we expected. The walls were very thin, and we could hear banging and knocking from neighbouring rooms, which got quite frustrating. The reflective film on the main door also seemed to be installed incorrectly, as you could see into the room from outside but not out, meaning we had to keep the curtain closed for privacy.
Fantastic location! The motel is just a 5-minute drive down the street to all the major stores like Pak'nSave, The Warehouse, restaurants, and more. The room was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and cosy stay. The hosts were friendly, and my husband and kids were thrilled to find Netflix available on the TVs.

Room was clean, new and had all the amenities we required. Peaceful location and friendly staff, that provided useful information. Giant spa tub that adjoined our room was great too. Location is away from restaurants, cafes etc but that suited our trip and provided for a nice restful nights sleep. Comfy pillows, bed and room.

Maintenance issue - The shower leaked which created a damp spot on the lounge/kitchen area, but not a deal breaker.
Room was clean, almost spotless. Beds were super comfy, I almost booked another night. Plenty of bathroom products, the shower had great pressure. Spa bath was excellent after a long drive. Staff were friendly and pleasant to deal with.

Great location, very close to everything (shops and restaurants) very friendly staffs, nice layout of the room. The room is clean but could be better. The painting on the wall and the toilet roll cover was bit dusty.

Appreciated the very early check in so much. the staff were amazing. The fact the spa room was of rhe bedroom and there were no time limits on when to use the bubbles. The bed was super comfortable.

Outside lights shines through curtains, censor lights on and off disturbed sleep. The heat pump temp. light is too bright on the unit making it hard to sleep. Some mould noticed behind bathroom door. a wrapper found under sofa. The sofa was a bit smelly.

The shower floor was a little slippery and the parking area was too small. Personally it would have been ideal if it had a space for disability parking especially when your vehicle is kitted out for disabled persons. The pillows weren't comfortable, some were so flat and others were lumpy and heavy
Staff accommodated me by upgrading to a bigger suite because my baby is special needs and uses a wheelchair for mobility. I wasn't aware of this until I arrived so that was a nice surprise. I wasn't charged extra also. Had all that you needed in the kitchenette good storage area in the porch, it was comfortable. Pleasant front area looking out onto the main road. Convenient to town. I will definitely go back. Good reasonable value for money!
