How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Lounge was a bit small, but still ok. The hot tub wasnt working properly, which is why we booked this particular room, but that man was super helpful in trying to fix this and also gave us a discount because of this. Parking was quite tight. Not for you if you have a large vehicle or cant parallel park
Nice little room. Spacious bathroom. Private little patio area with hot tub was great. Staff were super friendly and helpful

Unable to cook and prepare own meals No stove
1. The location was very good for our purpose. 2. Loved the hot tub 3. Free Wifi 4. The bed was comfortable and beautiful, fresh linen.

The unit was smaller than others we have stayed in but we didn't mind at all.
The location was very convenient and the facility exceptionally clean. We only stayed for a night but will definitely stay again when traveling to Hamilton. The coffee and tea collection were great. Had everything we needed including ironing facility, extra heaters, towels and even a TV in the room.

Awesome stay. Clean, warm and well maintained. Exceeded my expectations. Location was perfect and great value compared to nearby places. Awesome beds and the shower was pretty good too! Nice friendly staff, easy as. Will stay again if I'm in Hamilton.

Only one key for 3 people but we worked around it.
Very friendly person at the front desk. Came and discussed a couple of minor issues with us and was very professional. Kind and courteous - Thanks! Very good unit, corporate accommodation only, unlike other places in the area. Staff very communicative.

The family units have a master bedroom with an ensuite, hard with a family of 4 adults, 2 children sharing the same bathroom.
Family accommodation and it suited us. It was quiet and you could relax after a long day.

Booked room with hot tub,but it was so couldn't even get in it.
Close to where I needed to be for work. Nice clean room and comfortable bed. This would have been the pick of hotels in the area as a lot of hotels used on this street for emergency housing.

Hot tub a bit exposed visually to upper veranda and second storey windows next door, trees nearly covered next door but upstairs veranda looks down on tub area. And turned off at 10pm, I suggest 11pm.
Hot tub, was main reason for booking here. Lovely big bed, king or possibly larger.

Not the fault of the motel but they are right next door to another motel which has emergency housing, in fact all along the street is emergency housing. It was noisier on that side but the side we were on was great.

Only once you were in the room, it only then advises you that you have only 200mbs of internet available during your stay, so this is not much if you have work to do away from home/office. And this was not stipulated on the site when I opted to choose this motel.

Not a big complaint but the seating in the spa was a little slimy could probably do with a wash but overall everything was good.
We enjoyed our stay. The spa was a treat and sky tv was an added bonus being able to relax and watch the footy.

The lousy neighbour's parting all night in the next motel didn't help the sleep but that wasn't te Atriums fault lol.
Both rooms were tidy, great room space, above our expectations, and perfect for our family at such short notice.
