How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

I asked for a taxi to be changed from 5.15am pick up to 7.00am pick up . This didn't happen .
We had trouble with our Wifi which was never really resolved

Wish we had gotten the cott we ordered for our room. I just made it a little hard not having one for our bubba.

loved everything about the property. however the breakfast was sub par not worth the $45 per person, the eggs Benedict were cold and muffins soggy as were the waffles. waffles and eggs should be made to order not left to sit. no maple syrup had to flag down someone to fill up the jug.

Pool area and spa area is nice however could do with a little upgrade
Staff are the most helpful and friendly hotel staff I have experienced.. a genuine desire to assist and provide a great experience. Rooms are very clean and beds are very comfortable!

Had to keep asking for cotton buds, water bottles not refilled even when asked the cleaning staff, shuttle bus was too small, paying extra for buffet breakfast and not value for money. One female hotel cleaning staff had bad body odour. 3 Cleaning trolleys always in hallway all day every day making it very tight to move luggage and not a good look. Need to combine car valet service with reception for seamless customer experience. Hotel scent was not pleasant and needs to be changed.
Location was great, nice bar and lounge. Room was pleasant, spacious and quiet with great views. Reception staff and car valet were friendly. Nice harp music and seating areas.

The only really not great thing was a clump of hair on the bathroom floor when we walked in

I booked through booking.com the room was not what was advertised much smaller no kitchen, the pictures on the booking add weren’t I don’t think even from your hotel so you can imagine my disappointment . False advertising from them. Also the hotel was very busy I didn’t think there was enough staff on to cater as our rooms weren’t made till 530 pm
Good having everything together, pool dining room ect didn’t have to leave

We requested to be on a high floor with view but were very low with big building in front of us. We were also right outside the elevators which got very noisey

Valet parking was not good we waited nearly 1 hour to get our car on check out and after breakfast we tried to get up to our room and our swipe cards did not work as it was 1 min past 11 we then had to que to get the card working which took multiple back and forth to the lift to make it happen - this all spoilt an otherwise relaxing stay!
Rooms and facilities were excellent as was the room service and breakfast and the staff were very good too

Pool area wasn’t clean and was also poorly maintained, loose tiles felt unsafe. Level 2 smelt really bad like wet carpet going mouldy. When using the hairdryer it nearly burnt my hair off and the motel down when it started shooting out sparks mid use and smoking, which then stunk out our whole room out too. It then took a very long time for a replacement to be brought up. When checking in the staff were poorly managing the lines, we got told to move to another queue to get checked in quicker and we declined as we were next in line, but the lady was insistent that we would be seen quicker so we moved under her guidance, then ended up having to wait much longer while our toddler was getting really agitated, no apologies or anything.
The breakfast at Eight was nice.

My wife also received no assistance by hotel staff when we were leaving the hotel Paid vallet parking - one of the few experiences where I had to pay for parking - for the amount I was paying a night, I expected for parking to be provided. Very little use of the ammenities Little interaction with staff Room took a long time to be remade despite being away all day most of our stay in the hotel Poor co-ordination of evacuation and provision of information during suspected fire emergency
