We had a great stay! The place felt homely and cozy, with a quiet atmosphere and beautiful, convenient surroundings. The breakfast was delicious—especially the homemade lemon cake and cookies, which were absolutely yummy! The host and hostess were incredibly warm and welcoming, and their two adorable dogs made the experience even more special. We’ll definitely visit again next time!

The hostess was so welcoming. We had a fridge full of goodies when we checked in. And also a loaf of fresh baked bread and freshly picked tomatoes . The cottage was so peaceful and tranquil. Lots of activities nearby like the swing bridge and the dam. It was wonderful to be able to just to sit back and look at the stars. We highly recommend this beautiful cottage. . Will definitely return.

    Absolutely nothing to fault

This would have to be 'thee' best b n b we have ever stayed in to date, everything was just top notch and far exceeded our expectations , the whole experience was truly made quite magical by the hosts and their beautiful fur babies, Ruby and Maya , they were the most friendliest and helpful couple, Deborah went out of her way to take us around to the local walks and to show us the attractions of the area so we knew where to go the following day when heading out on our adventures and Graeme who landscaped the whole area into the gorgeous place it is took us on a tour of the gardens and taught us very interesting tips along the way, upon arriving we were greeted with beautiful home baked sultana loaf and a fridge and pantry full of goodies for breakfast the next day, their two dogs Ruby and Maya are so gorgeous and friendly and really added to the experience, the room itself was well appointed and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay, would highly recommend this place and exploring the beautiful area of which its located, we will certainly be back to finish off our explorations of this magical place.

Our hosts, Deborah and Graeme were lovely, friendly and very hospitable. Enjoyed chatting to them and adored their beautiful dogs, Maya and Ruby. The home was exactly as pictured - very homely, comfortable and well decorated with lots of little thoughtful touches like fresh flowers. It felt like a home away from home. A stocked pantry with a variety of breakfast cereal choices, freshly baked bread and biscuits, stewed fruit, yoghurt, eggs and jams - the choices were so many. Top that with chocolates too, made our evening. Thanks for the wonderful time we had at your beautiful place. We will surely be back.

Welcoming clean and very cozy, and had everything sorted for our stay, even had home made bread and stewed pears. Cupboards were stocked along with the fridge. Only spent the night but wished I'd planned for a longer stay. Would definitely stay there again.

The hosts I’m sure would remedy shortcomings promptly. We however found none.

The hosts (Graeme and Deborah) go above and beyond with making your stay memorable. We had a freshly baked chocolate cake, fresh goodies from their garden, in addition to a well stocked supply of breakfast items. We woke up one morning listening to the magpies (birds) singing and the dairy cows next door right up against the fence within arms reach, ending the day watching and hearing the kākās (parrots) flying overhead - making us feel like it was a farm stay. An easy 30 minute drive to Hobbiton and 1hr to Waitomo Caves, plus an enjoyable short walk to riverside trails and suspension bridge make this an ideal location.

We wondered whether the addition of a small dining table might be useful?

A quaint and cozy cottage, nicely off the road and surrounded by countryside, so very quiet. Kitchen facilities were very good and comprehensive, including a 'proper' coffee machine!

I have no negatives at all!! You'd be missing out not to stay here and meet these lovely people!!

What a fabulous little spot to stay!! Graeme and Deborah are simply the sweetest, most hospitable people that clearly care so much for making each guest as comfortable as possible. My partner and I were pleasantly surprised to find that they provided a wide variety of little foods for our breakfasts, including eggs, jams, breads, bananas, oatmeal, cereals, and even homemade muffins!! They were so thoughtful to find bread that could accommodate my partner's allergies, which was so compassionate of them. The room was spotless and very cozy, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the views. Graeme is a landscaper so they have decorated the grounds with beautiful flowers and their garden plants--absolutely lovely framing for the quaint pastures the property backs up against. Couldn't give higher recommendations!!

The Hosts were very helpful and extremely friendly. They let us know of a local place to explore and possible places to visit on our future journey. They went above and beyond and helped my Mom make cups of really good coffee on their machine! We heartily recommend the hosts and their scenic, quiet place to stay!! We went to Hobbiton and it the bnb was a short distance away. Wonderful time, would stay there again if in the area.
