Exactly as advertised, cheap, nice but a little loud.

The room isn't too big so if you have luggage there isn't any place to put them. Also its right next to the road and the windows don't have good insulation so you end up hearing a lot of road noise. The place doesn't have a reception so the check in was slightly confusing until the owner came in and showed us around.

Exactly as advertised, the room, the common areas etc are exactly the same as the pictures. For its price it was a good service. Shower was nice and hot, common areas we're not busy, a lot of stuff to cook with. People leave their stuff in a basket titled "free to use" so we ended up using some ramen and breakfast cereals from there. The owner/lady was helpful but we only saw her maybe twice.

One bathroom is maybe not enough if all the rooms and chalets are fully booked… Even now you sometimes had to wait for a while. It is also a pity that the toilet is not separate from the bathroom.

Very friendly owner and nice place! Easy access to bus station. Perfect for this price!

Should have another toilet/bathroom for those renting the outside cabins...now only have one toilet/bathroom for all the cabins and rooms inside the house.

I like the layout of the Hall, kitchen and the Rooms at first floor...very practical. Beds are very comfortable. Miss helena the owner is super nice , the awesome hello kitty teams is a new experience

We stayed in room number 3, which is located right next to a very busy road in Auckland, with constant noise day and night. Unfortunately, the soundproofing is almost nonexistent, making it impossible for me to sleep, even with earplugs. Given this situation, I asked the owner for a room change or a refund for the remaining nights (I had booked for 8 nights). Her response was particularly unpleasant—she strongly encouraged me to leave, implying that since I live in a van, I should be used to noise, and that if I “didn’t know how to travel,” I should just stay home. A rather surprising attitude. If you’re a light sleeper, avoid this place!
