The location of this studio is perfect - looks out over the water. Was beautiful even though it rained the whole time for us. The studio has absolutely everything you need, down to board games! Couldn’t fault this place!

Lovely, warm, clean apartment with a stunning view. Enjoyed visiting Nugget Point and Purakaunui Falls and loved being so close to the sandy beach. We cannot wait to come back in summer for a longer stay.

What a find, lovely well appointed modern apartment, Everything you need for your stay and more, it was quiet no noise from other apartment. Wonderful sea views from lounge/bed. Amazing comfortable bed.Excellent shower,modern bathroom. very good communication with owner. Smart TV 42inch. Lovely touch with the bowl fruit. I will be letting my friends know to stay here is a must.. It was a great experience in Kaka

There is no Sky TV The water heating unit ( gas califont ) is mounted on unit 2's south wall behind the bed, and when activated, you can hear it through the wall as it feeds both units it is very annoying if the other unit is using hot water for a shower early in the morning or late at night. Also, if both units are using hot water at the same time, unit 2s shower goes hot and cold which is very annoying and dangerous cause when it goes back to hot it's very hot and you have to move fast to get out of the rode

Thought a washing machine would have been in apartment. Three days stay after travelling would have been appreciated. Apartment lovely and quiet, clean.

No eating places open on the Monday night I was there. There is no place to purchase any items to prepare a meal in the room as it was also closed. I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase a takeaway feed from a food van that was parked near the waterfront. (Closed at 6.00pm)

Unfortunately the walls between the two units are very thin and we could hear everything the neighbours (with children) were doing.

Our unit was modern, practical and very clean. The heating also worked great (in winter). The view of the sea and Nugget Point in the distance was great :)

Couple of small downsides due to this being Apt 1 or two: 1. when hot water used by other apartment noise of gas California clicking on is right behind bed 2. viewing deck runs right along front of both apartments and divider / privacy screen not sufficient for full privacy.

Fantastic view East out over Kaka Point Beach. Immaculately clean, with all you need for a short stay.

Beautiful situation in Kaka Point with stunning beach view. New unit with everything you could want supplied. Everything clean and working. Towels changed daily
