It's just a short 5-minute walk from the SkyTower and a 10-minute walk from the city centre. The staff's very friendly, and the check-in was easy too, especially considering you can do it in advance. The pods are just great. It's like your own little cocoon: the matress and linen are very comfy, and the pod has a nightlight, USB-outlet, mirror, and some 'pockets' for small items. There are plenty of toilets and showers, I didn't have to wait, and more importantly, they're clean! The kitchen's fully equipped and a nice place to meet others. There's also a bar on the ground floor that hosts several events weekly.

So much more than a backpackers. Stayed in 4 pod room and used shared bathroom...great showers. Very easy check-in and out.

The price is too high.

The staff are pleasant and helpful. The location is terrific. It's very close to the Sky Tower. The design of the pod is great because everyone can have their own privacy. The bathroom and shower room is spacious and clean. Terrific!

The locker was pretty small, only fit backpack and small luggage.

Great location, it also has bar in the hostel. And it was very multicultural! Many options for restaurants around.

The dorm was quite small considering everyone has its own luggage and might be tight to walk if you are not in your bed.

I first stayed in a twin room and I loved it, very comfortable and spacious and it was super clean! Regarding the dorm, I liked the fact that beds have privacy and they were comfortable as well with lockers to keep your valuables. Even though is a big hostel there are a lot of different common areas and a bar too. Definitely recommend if you are in Auckland, walking distance to the centre.

The hostel was modern, comfortable and lively. The beds were really comfortable and the wifi was excellent.

Honestly not sure there was much I didn’t like. I guess the only thing is I was a little confused if Miss Lucy’s was open for breakfast/coffee. Some mornings they were, others they weren’t. I might’ve missed some signage but there were plenty of options near by so it wasn’t a big deal.

Having Miss Lucy’s (the bar/restaurant) right down stairs was really convenient. They always had something going on at night whether it was trivia or taco Tuesday. Laundry on site was a plus. Very easy to use and honestly cheaper than a laundromat in the US. Location was perfect. 10-15 min walk to the shops/harbor. Couple blocks from the sky tower.

Such a small thing but I really wanted tea and coffee making facilities in the room, there was also no fridge, although we could have used the one in the shared kitchen downstairs.

Bougie backpackers with basic facilities. There was a bar downstairs which looked quite nice but we didn't use it. TV had casting capabilities.
