sometimes I felt like my questions were bothering the staff. they did answer my questions but were not necessarily the same hospitable level I am used to in the Netherlands

super close to airport bus (skye bus) clean kitchen (everyone cleans up after themselves) clean toilets and showers (it all looks super fancy and aesthetic) miss lucy (part of the hostel) was a nice restaurant place where you could have some food, coffee or try and connect

the pods can get a little to warm overnight, would be nice if the room temperature can be lowered maybe that way the interior of the pods would be fresher.

I am not a fan of self check in/check out - it is always nicer to deal with an actual human being. Also the sanitary bins in the bathrooms would need to be emptied more frequently

The sleeping pods are really comfortable and well thought, the shared spaces are nicely decorated, enough toilets and showers

I was a bit concerned about the fact that a man on meth (full on crackhead spec) was just walking around the halls at night. I can't say he didn't book a room, but when trying to go toilet at around 3am, he was just standing in the hall charging his phone - I'd say that was the only downside to our stay.

I loved it! The facilities were nice and clean, the staff were pleasant and easy to deal with - it was a very relaxed and easy going environment. The check in process was unbelievably easy and the kitchen/bathroom facilities were amazing. We're definitely staying over again on our next Auckland trip

The bathrooms could be cleaned more regularly. Our double room was small but had enough space for everything, however there was no window, if that’s an issue for you.

This place has a really fun vibe, the atmosphere as soon as you walk in is amazing. Miss Lucys being so close made it easy to grab a tasty bite after a long day of traveling, plus the vending machines in the kitchen area are real handy. Checking in and out is real easy. The hang out areas are really comfortable. Beds are clean and crisp.

pods get pretty warm if door closed, also with fan on. made for the masses. kitchen too small for the amount of people being there and most pods and lids are already missing pieces. wierd cleaning scedule for the bathroom - was cleaned in the morning around 8am.

nice privacy thanks to pods. bar/resto downstairs. everything pretty new. vending machine in kitchen if everything else fails. cute hangout spots all over the hostel.

Good location, near to the Sky tower. The room was very clean, and the rest of the shared facilites (ex. toilets/showers) as well. Bed was comfortable.

Only downsides was the kitchen was filthy as I think the people using it were not used to adhering to backpacker shared kitchen rules! I felt bad for LyLo as its a great kitchen and so well stocked! All the sinks were blocked with pasta and gunk, surfaces filthy, pans and plates in the sinks, microwaves dirty. Also as there are no windows it was very stuffy and hot in the pod, even with the fan on. But dont want that to take away from the great facility it is overall.

Such great decor, ease of check in and so grateful your staff reserved me a lower bunk on request as I have a hip replacement. Room and toilets were super clean, lovely chill out area on level 2, super strong wifi! Powerful showers! Great area to do some work too. Pod was super clean and bed was comfy as.
