This was the perfect spot for us after travelling from the Christchurch and coming off the ferry as it was only an hours drive and we were very tired. It was quiet and peaceful, had everything we needed including breakfast, outlook was beautiful and most of all the bed was super comfortable and the shower had an amazing head.

The eggs provided were lovely and fresh and they poached so well. I arrived in the dark so it wasn't until the morning I saw the lovely rural setting the cabin was in. I sat outside with a cuppa and watched the tuis chasing each other and bathing as a group in one of the bird baths. Get your cameras ready BEFORE you go outside so you're ready to catch the action. Shona was lovely, she came to say hi in the morning (as I'd arrived so late - and again, thanks so much for accommodating my very late booking Shona). Through-out our chat I could tell we had things in common and I would have loved to be staying another night so I could force her to sit with me for a wine and a decent natter in that glorious setting.

Great place hidden away yet close to Paraparaumu and the expressway, great outlook over looking a pond and trees within the walkable garden area. Electric blanket was a bonus on winters night. Ample breakfast options, warm with great WiFi

The property was fantastic, we stayed in the honeymoon sweet and loved the view from the front porch. Bed was comfy, shower was great! The couch was comfy, everything worked as it should and we felt really at home in the space. Especially great for the bird nerd!

At first we wondered how breakfast worked but we eventually found everything we needed was already provided in the kitchen of the cottage. So my husband whipped up beaky for us :)

It’s really cute and cosy. The owner was lovely and friendly and promptly responded to our messages. The cottage was clean and tidy. The bed was comfy and shower had good water pressure. Breakfast was included which we had outside on the nice balcony.

Leaving, we could have done with another night.

It was my second time at this beautiful place. It was a Mothers Day treat for Mum and I. It's a must you stay. The hosts are accommodating and make you feel welcome. The place is peaceful, tranquil and breathtaking. The bed is comfortable and cozy with winter sheet to curl up in.. It has everything you need in the well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Only a short drive to the Town Center. I would definitely stay again. Thank you for your hospitality!
