Not central Auckland at all. In Mount Wellington be aware before you book. We spent a huge amount of time and money on trains and taxis getting in and out of Auckland cbd. Train was $6 each way and taxi was $55 each time. Room had daddylongleg spiders breeding and some ants feeding on the leaves on the window. Bathroom had some drops of blood on floor but again for budget accomodation we were not expecting much.

Ideal budget room. Nice sitting room facilities. Basic room. Hosts were very kind and let us leave our big bags in the sitting room when we went off exploring after checkout before our flight home.

Would be better if the dryer is functioning. Almost all NZ house has stairs at front door, so dont bring heavy luggage.

It is easy to get there. Even for 1st timer to nz. Just by the road. Nice neighbourhood. Walking distance to sylvia park. You can find everything there. Means near to railway station, bus station and malls. As a muslim, near to halal food. Walking distance to chickHen republic. One of the halal fried chicken and taste so good. Definitely will consider to stay again.

It was a little noisy with traffic from the road. Because it was shared kitchen, some of the smells coming from there weren't that appetizing.

I liked that it was easy to get to public transport and an easy drive/walk to Sylvia Park shopping centre. Was shared amenities but everything was very clean. The other tenants were very respectful - just a shame we didn't get to say hi.

Just don't expect it to be too fancy, it's an old house but we didn't have any complaints

Came up for a concert so even though it wasn't close to the venue I chose it for the location being close to my grandma's house and close to Sylvia park. There's also a shopping centre 2 minute walk away which was great and easy to get to public transport. It's on a bus route and there's a bus and train station at Sylvia park which was about a 10-15 minute walk away. Also it was nice and peaceful, even though the rooms were fully booked it was quiet and you hardly even notice that there's other people there

The down pipe at the front of the house emptied onto the grass. It was a very wet weekend but that just made the entire front area even more wet.

Very handy to transport and shopping centre's also Sylvia Park shopping complex I was very happy with everything The Owners were very helpful, bedroom was nice wardrobe and bedside drawer provided. House was safe and secure

The house itself is run down. Kitchen, toilet, bathroom, lounge needs tidying up. My bed was keep on collapsing, I had to re-attached the planks of wood of the bed frame underneath the mattress multiple times. Not ideal bed.

Location was really good! Handy to all necessity.

Everything. It was so dirty and the room had an awful smell which they tried to mask with fragrance sticks. The fridge was so dirty, I had to clean it out before I put my food in there. We had to leave the next day due to a family emergency but I would have looked for another place to stay just to get out of there as fast as I could. It was just atrocious.

Unhygenic house. Whole house smelling like cooked food, dishes on the counters, no hand towels, mould in the curtains, bed looked unmade, insects around the house.

The door lock is a bit complicated and it took me a while to understand.

It's a great compromise between a hotel and a hostel. The kitchen and bathroom are shared, but you have the room just to yourself. It is just big enough and it has everything you need - a bed, a bedside table, a desk and a wardrobe. Location is also good, there are bus stops and shopping center nearby.

The house is old. To me I felt it to be a bit too expensive considering the condition of the house and the size of the room I booked for. The woods under the bed kept falling off and I tried to put it back in but it wouldn’t. The bathroom is run down and doesn’t look like anything in the picture that is shared on here.

It was close to the shops as well as Sylvia park was a few minutes up the road.
