How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The bathroom tiles needed a scrub and it was very small- okay for a single night but probably not for a lot longer. Portable AC unit was quite loud to sleep with.
Bed was comfortable and easy access to the city. The staff were friendly!

Typical Indian food smell in the common area is terrible, absolutely not for everyone. It’s an apartment block and many apartments are taken by permanent residents. Building has an internal yard, however the roof over the whole building makes it pointless. At night lights in that yard stay on and without curtains it feels like daylight at night. Room was tiny with no balcony, bed was terrible. It’s like a single king bed for 2 people. Shower was super small and big person will definitely straggle.
Location. 5-10 minutes walk to all the streets with shops, cafes etc.

OMG I’m not sure this room could have been any smaller and still be called a “studio” maybe ok for a single bed and a single person for one night on a quick trip. Only place to open a suite case is on the bed but then close it back up so you can sit or sleep on the small double bed. When the recommendation says to only have washer/ dryer combo at 1/2 capacity for good results you have to ask why not get a better machine that can was a whole load. Don’t cook anything smelly or you’ll pay extra, don’t hang clothes on balcony to dry you pay extra and so on. Very disappointed.

The $300 bond is still a little steep.... Is not cheaper per night than staying at a hotel on this same street, so not sure why the extra bond.

The listing is misleading by suggesting they have a pool and fitness centre. This is actually located in a completely different hotel about 10 minutes walk away. The pool was part of the reason I booked here.
Housekeeping was polite and the room very clean and comfortable.

was a bit noisy, but i feel that may just be the atrium in the middle of the building. Noones fault but i guess maybe if you're looking for 'really quiet' this isnt it...

The bathroom could use a deep clean the grouts on the tile floors were black with dirt and the shower had layers of scum especially around the shower door draws in the kitchen were dirty right at the back also
The bed was super comfortable and good utilities location was a bonus as well staff were friendly and helpfull

Single glazed window meant a lot of wind noise, to the point of inhibiting sleep. Somehow wind was also very annoying at the front door.

The bed was a very standard motel bed so nothing special, just adequate. The microwave was not working properly, the frying pan really needed replacing and the shower screen door does not close properly so there needs to be a little bit more maintenance, but I am nit picking a bit.
The room was well set out and not too small. Great location and staff were lovely. Being a 1 bedroom, it was quiet in the room and was nice to have a balcony. Would be nicer if there was a couple of chairs out on the balcony though. The room I asked for faced the city so I was happy with the view we had.

Parking was difficult to get in and out of with a SUV, the plug in the bathroom sink didn't work
