My room was over the walkway and looked out over a main carpark and was very noisy at night. The air conditioning had some issues, especially in my parents room which was roasting! Apparently there were several other passengers with similar issues.

Excellent set up in the apartment - washing machine, dishwasher, pot, pan & utensils were great! Staff were very helpful, especially when my parents Air NZ flight was cancelled and we needed the room another night - it was no issue and they could even stay in the same room and not have to move (they're in their 80's). The rooms have walk-in showers so easy access for my parents and they were very accommodating with 2x single beds in the rooms for both my parents and myself and son.

I had requested two single beds and the room had one queen or king. That was disappointing. We were really happy it came with a washer/dryer, but no instructions how to use it, and the dryer didn’t dry the clothes properly even after several attempts.

Location was great, walking distance to shopping, market and buses. Right next door to my favourite restaurant and really close to my favourite supermarket. Facilities were great We loved the free movies, even though most were old and hokey.

We had problems with getting a car park for just for 1 night. We were charged for 3 nights and when we went to the car park later in the evening there were no car parks available. We had a discussion with the reception on the Sunday morning and was advised that they would need to talk to the manager. We checked out early the next morning. I sent 2 emails over 4 days and eventually made a direct phone call on day 5 - I ended up speaking with the manager, who quickly agreed to a full refund. As it was a weekend, the public car park behind the building is free after 1pm on Saturday. A real hassle, but I stuck with it. Also, were not aware that our room was not serviced on the Sunday, so as we had a washing machine and a drier, we simply did our own washing.

Location was perfect for our visit. Right in town, shop for groceries about 200m down the road. The room was just what we required, clean and comfortable.

The rubbish bin was old and tatty. Also just a point that was rung a few hours after I had checked in asking when I intended to check in and said did it a few hours prior. They were apologetic but was surprised by call and that it hadn't been noted

Its time to upgrade the beds which are pretty old and not very comfy or at least add comfy mattress toppers. Also the sofa and chair are more like waiting room furniture, it would be great to have comfy and soft furniture and cushions. Bigger screen and updated TV and away from free view.

Great location and value for money and a very safe location and so close to everything. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The people that partied from 2.30 - 4.30 am and kept me awake most of the night!! Would have been good if I had known what to do to get help with this. I presume instructions were on the TV, but when you get in late after a delayed flight, you don't check those things!!

Had to pay extra for parking 1 night then for following night no parking available, had to park on street and carry everything to the room. Thought with a Hotel of this standard parking should be included in the price. Due to the parking issue my reservation to stay here again will need to be thought of first, comfortable Hotel and good location but no parking is a hassle

Was within walking distance of the Trafalgar Centre - only persistent rain dampened the experience. The room was comfortably sized and all necessary appliances and amenities were available - the hot water cupboard/wardrobe was a bonus. The room was clean but the decor is getting a little tired - far from tatty though.
