It was tired and needed a lot of amenities within the apartment. What we gas was either not enough or less than standard you would expect. For example furniture was very poor. In fairness Quest did send note that apartments were due for refurbishment but a defensive position for what we paid and review like this.

There is something seriously wrong with the washing machine, which screamed when I tried to use it. The vent in the bathroom also didn’t work (going by the condensation and heat that built up using the washing machine and dryer)

Great locations, close to the city center, Clean, cozy bed. All staff are very friendly. There are many movies to watch in the room. There is washing machine & dryer and everything you need for staying. I Will definitely come back again.

Despite notifying that we were arriving at 10 pm, there were no instructions on how to get in (followed other guests in to reception eventually). No instructions at reception either. Ended up calling the emergency number, after which the night staff arrived after a minute. Gave up on the microwave; someting so simple was impossible to work out!

For this stay, I was given a studio apartment which is smaller than I expected. Parking spaces were small in a very tight parking area, but typical of CBD Auckland.

Helpful staff. I checked in after hours and the night manager was very quick to respond and efficient. My room was a little dated but my parent's room was a little better.

Hot plate. Old and doesn’t heat up soon. Takes ages. No indicator on the knob. No designated short parking for the property to check in. After hours checking in was not smooth as the intercom was not good (can’t hear)

The exhaust in bathroom didn’t seem to be working and there needs to be some tissue box’s for convenience.

The only thing that bothered me was the air con unit was a bit out dated and weak.

Well what exceeded my expectation was the location and the surrounding amenities. First time to Auckland and all I to do is walk five minutes either way and there was something to do. Sky City was just across the road and Denny was 5 Minutes down the road. Highly recommended if you don't plan to drive. Also there is a parking lot in the facility and and across the rd. Lastly if you have a wedding to attend at St Mathew this is the best place to be. Literally few steps away.

Windows are cracked perhaps due to overexposure to sunlight.

Location is awesome. Room spacious. Bed very cozy. Washing machine and dryer is a surprise and comes handy. A wide range of movie selection.

The apartment was a little tired and beat up. All the kitchen cupboards were hanging off broken hinges. Door to deck didnt lock. Needs renovating - marks all over the walls, saggy carpet with ripples through the room.

rooms need a deep clean and touch up (scuff marks and dents over most walls. Soap scum build up in bathroom). Hand soap was like a bleach-containing cleaning fluid… caused skin irritation. Room next to alleyway that had drunk/loud people yelling/congregating all night. The immediate area generally seems to be a hotspot for ’dodgy/under the influence’ people….. during the day but especially at night was scary.

Central location. Out of hours check-in is convenient. Baggage storage. Really friendly staff. Security to the building.

The curtains in the living room/ kitchen area weren’t quite long enough so couldn’t fully close them and have complete privacy from the apartments across the alley way.

The room was a decent size, with an oven and cook top (which we didn’t use) & pretty much everything you’d need for a short stay here. Great location about a 25 minute walk to Spark Arena.

Paid parking in the basement was absolutely tiny, luckily we had a Hyundi i30 but even that was a tight squeeze.

They had issues with hot water for one morning that was unfortunate but the staff was professional about it and sorted it out by midafternoon

Nowhere to stop outside hotel during rush hour as it's on a free way. A bit noisy at night as the windows aren't double glazed Curtains were hard to pull closed as the windows are so high and the curtains didn't seem to be wide enough for the windows

Water pressure was terrible. Luckily I didn't have to wash my hair as it would have been near impossible to rinse shampoo out. The room I had looked directly onto the back of another old apartment building and there was no opening windows so felt a bit caged in when there.

Location was good and handy for the Skydrive bus to/from airport.
