Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

New ZealandThe lift always stank of cigarettes. It was also super slow and got stuck one of the times I wanted to use it. It wasn't super clear how to get to the reception via the stairs.
The bed was super comfy, the curtains blocked out light well. No street noise. The room itself was great.

We paid for the Lakeview room and were impressed by the view and the actual room. Unfortunately there were renovations taking place across the road as well as in the actual complex also that had an impact on our stay. Location was perfect an easy walk into all the attractions Queenstown has to offer.

United KingdomCan’t recommend enough. We were originally booked in at a different place nearby but weren’t happy with the room. Scenic suites were able to book us in straight away and give us a lovely room for a very reasonable price. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed and more - nice bathroom with bath and shower, balcony, lounge and dining area, full kitchen, washer and dryer, big TV, plenty of plates/cutlery etc. The place also went beyond to make you feel welcome, they had supplies for the laundry, extra key cards, even put a note through our door to remind us of the clocks changing ahead of time.

We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a larger room, which was a great bonus! While the building itself is quite old, the rooms are clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The location was excellent, and the free, secure underground parking was a definite plus.

Central location, a short walk to restaurants etc. The double room had two comfortable beds and a decent sized bathroom. A balcony with a view of the Remarkables was nice. Unfortunately the hotel is let down by a poor restaurant, we booked for 7.30 and were told on arrival we would have to wait for 45 minutes because another party had arrived, and they couldn’t cope. So when the food eventually arrived it was of poor quality, a lamb rack with two mouthfuls of meat, a few fried potatoes broccoli and cauliflower. No apologys for the wait, needless to say we ate elsewhere for the rest of the stay.
