The room was facing the direct sun and was very warm when we self checked in at around 5.30pm. Pedestal fan in room only. No air-conditioning. Wouldn't like to stay here in the summertime. Wall heater. 4 coffee sachels and tea bags provided only. Cost of $235AUS for the night for 2 adults was alot I thought.

The communication from the host was prompt and thorough. Queen size room with ensuite and kitchenette facilities (fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery for 2 people) appears to be new. Free parking on-site. Free WiFi. Exceptionally clean. A few minutes drive to town. Tw

We stayed on a summer day, the room was very hot when we arrived and it didn't appear there was any way to cool the room other than to open the windows (which lets in the moths at night).

Clean, comfortable apartment. Proprietors are friendly and helpful and will e-mail instructions for how to access your room. Our room did not have a kitchen sink, but did have a refrigerator, microwave, tea kettle, and dishes. Twizel is a sleepy little town with a central square containing restaurants, shops, and fuel. Most places close up by 8pm, so plan accordingly!

There didn’t seem to be much insulation between the rooms, so it was a bit noisy if the neighbouring room was talking/moving around.

The room was very clean and modern. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was modern with a good shower. Perfect for 2 people and great communication from the host.

Kitchen space was small compared to other places we’ve stayed. It would have been nice to have a little milk for tea and coffee.

Wall insulation could be better, we were made aware that the tv sound was disturbing other visitors even at a reasonable volume level. However this is a good value and great location for mount Cook and lake Pukaki visitors.

There’s no sink in the kitchen area and no place to put your suitcase ( other than the floor).

Clean and modern unit, comfortable bed. The downtown of Twizel has a couple of stores and a few restaurants. It’s kind of cute.

The patio door didn’t open and no one to contact for this. So we couldn’t go out and enjoy the stars right from our room which was a shame. The 2 windows didn’t open sufficiently so we were very hot at night with no air conditioning

The fact there was no place to set up our luggage and it had to be opened on the floor was not cool. Also no comfortable chairs. What is with these tall stools? You want us to take off our shoes but you cant sit at these stools and put your feet on the metal brackets with out shoes. No screens on windows. No AC so how is that a good idea.

Location is nice, overlooking the magnificent mountain. The views are really good ! Can't really cook but basic things like microwave, kettle and fridge is provided. Be sure to bring your premade meals 😁

I hope that they will erect a temporary bamboo barrier until the tree hedge grows to cover the view of the opposite units door and window when sit in the front bench

Hostess provided the most complete and easy to follow directions to the location. Nice location, off the beaten path a little, but quiet. Small kitchen area which made eating a little clumsy. Fairly uncomfortable futon which was the only real furniture. Parking clearly defined and adequate.

Small bathroom.

It was an ok place to stay. Very basic. It did have a refrigerator but limited options for eating in the room. It was clean and no problems. Instructions were clear.
