As a female solo traveler, I had a very very good experience at Legacy Hostel. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful and the bedrooms and beds are really comfortable. You will feel safe, the host Zouhaier will make you feel at home. If you need anything, he will do everything he can to help. They also arrange touristic tours to the main touristic areas at very affordable prices, so this is really convenient when your time is limited, you get to see everything. I took many tours and loved all of them. This really was one of my best experiences in a hostel. Thank you very much Legacy Hostel, I will come back without any hesitation on my next visit to Oman !

Staying in this hostel was the best thing that could happen in my trip to Oman. The owner Zouhaier is so welcoming and goes out of his way to help you make the most out of your experience. He helped us form a travel plan for our whole stay, recommended places, even drove us around and shared so much about Omani culture. His passion for connecting people and cultures creates a really good atmosphere between guests and I was able to meet so many great people in the common areas such as kitchen, living room and a sunny terrace, which are all very cozy and perfect for relaxing. This is more than a hostel, it's an experience! There was a miscommunication issue with Booking.com but the hostel accommodated us in the middle of the night and made sure we woke up to a good cup of coffee.

I only had a short stay, but I had a warm welcome, and the place had a lovely community atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and it was a great place to meet others to go on adventure, or lounge on a cushion reading books and eating dates!

I had a fantastic stay at Legacy Hostel! Zouhaier, the host, was incredibly kind and supportive throughout my time in Muscat. He organized group gatherings to the desert and Souk and also arranged a taxi for my airport transfer. The hostel had a great social vibe, with free dates, coffee, and tea always available. Everything was clean, and the staff was super helpful. It truly felt like home, and I would definitely come back!

Super friendly and welcoming staff. Both the dormitories and public spaces are spacious and very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and clean too. Great Omani coffee, dates and typical sweets are available at all times in the lounge, which is cosy and confortable. The owner is very kind and helpful, can advise and support on excursions, getting souvenirs and just feel at home! Rates are super convenient. Great experience in my 3 days stay!

Nothing. Everything was perfect. My only regret was not staying longer.

The people (!!!). Comfortable beds. Great bathroom. Warm shower. Cozy common space both indoor and outdoor. Nice fully-equipped kitchen. Quiet neighbourhood. Walking distance to supermarkets and food. Zouhaier and his nephew Louay are the friendliest people you can imagine. They make you feel like a family member from the moment you arrive. I have stayed in +100 hostels and never experienced this amount of warmth generosity before. I would go back to Oman just for staying here again.

Very social hostel, Zouhaier, the owner is the heart of the hostel welcoming everyone and helps and support all guests with everything (transport, car rentals, trip planning….) 100% recommend, best value for price in Oman where accommodation especially is generally expensive I also love that there are dates and water in the hostel which make it even more welcoming:)

The owner is the best. Very kind and Generous. He could even pick you up from the airport (for only small money) and also help you get a sim card or rent a car with the best deal through his connection and even drop you from place to place even free! Lots of food and snacks are also available there for free or cheap. Amazing people all super friendly and helpful. I came there alone for the first time, made new friends, rented a car together, and had lots of amazing adventures. I 100% recommend it

Such a nice hostel in Muscat, Zouhair, the owner really makes you feel like part of the family and will always try to help :) he came to pick me up at the airport and also dropped me off, which was so kind of him. There’s a nice spacious living room for socializing - always providing dates and other snacks! The hostel is situated in a nice area, with a big supermarket nearby, and just about 15min drive to the airport and the old town. Thanks for everything and hope to see you again soon! ☺️

It's a bit out of the way, but taxis are so cheap that it doesn't really matter.

Loved this place! The staff was super friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the common areas are perfect for meeting other travelers. Had a very good time here. Definitely coming back!

Zouhair treats you like family, not just a guest! He is more than helpful, even without you having to ask! Making friends at the hostel was also easy, thanks to the nice front yard, and cozy living room (that occasionally welcomes a friendly neighbourhood cat 😂). Location is good, 10 minutes drive to the beautiful Qurum beach, 5 minutes walk to restaurants and supermarkets. The female dorm room has an en-suite bathroom and shower, and cabinets with keys to keep your things safe.

Everything, amazing experience overall, the host is an incredible person he speaks French Italian English and Arabic. I absolutely loved my stay here the people are young and adventurous and you will always find company to do activities with! The hostel is in the center of muscat and easy to go anywhere. The vibes are very friendly and they have traditional arabic seating! You should definitely book this hostel.
