“Rooms are appalling. ‘Spartan’ would be an euphemism: one small table and one shelf in total - no hangers, nowhere to leave stuff. Very dirty and tatty walls. Absolutely poor value for money - definitely not worth £55/night we paid in April 2025. First night there was no water and had to use cold water in buckets to wash. Second day pools were emptied with no notice and electricity was off for some hours, so a generator polluted with noise and smell our afternoon. Beautiful garden and nice staff, but nobody would speak English and there was ZERO info on activities. Useful kitchen, no restaurant/food. Reasonably near the avenida central.”

Although breakfast isn't provided, having a car made it easy to explore the town's variety of good and affordable dining options. The tranquil atmosphere and warm hospitality made our visit truly relaxing.”
“Was recommended by a friend, who had stayed at the hotel few years ago and said it is lovely. The Golden Frog Inn is a beautiful place, and has warm hearted, polite personnel. Everything at the property is super well kept and garden has beautiful flowers and plants.
Stayed at the room #5 which was super peaceful, and had a terrace with hammock and rocking chairs towards facing the nature.
The cleanliness was outstanding. Fresh water was brought to room daily, and the room had a small coffeemaker with amazing coffee!”

The hot water in the shower only worked on the third day - maybe because it was Easter, but like Jesus it came back to live on the third day! 😅 at first I was convinced they didn't have any! And I did the same thing every day: opened the left faucet all the way.🤷♀️
I was lucky to be on the lowest bunk bed because they have bunk beds with three levels. If I had been on the third bed, I would have cried; I'm not good with heights. The breakfasts are awesome, and the bonus is that you don't have to make them; just put your name on a list and wait to be called. Love the French toast😋🥰”
