This property is a little gem in the beautiful El Cangrejo neighborhood. It's a couple blocks removed from Via Argentina (the main party strip) so you get the convenience of being close to everything in this bustling little barrio without the noise and revelry. The property itself is basic yet clean and comfortable. The staff are amazing and they seem to attract like minded visitors as every guest I spoke with was friendly and considerate. This is not a modern, plush hotel; But for the money you won't find better accommodations in such a hip, vibrant neighborhood. Can you tell I really liked it?

The phone numbers are whatsapp only which lead to some confusion. The room did not actually have a bath as specified but the shower was fine.

The room had comfy mattresses and was really clean. I've stayed there before and would again, it's a great location near restaurants, bars and shops and it's good for the price. Great city views, safe to walk around at night.

Facilities were very basic. Shared kitchen is a small dark room next to garage where there's not one single cup to make coffee, and reception said no to my request to get one. Laundry, ping pong, play area i didnt see or hear about. I asked about tours but theres none. Almost everything worked well but not much of a hostel.

It was difficult to figure out how to turn on the hot water, had to ask at the reception. When I arrived at about 10pm there was noone at reception, so no way to get inside, as a key was needed and I dis not yet have internet to call. It would help to have a doorbell or something to alert the staff you are waiting.

Neighbourhood was quiet and felt safe. 10 min walk from Iglesias de Carmen metro. Passing mini markets, restaurants and street food vendors on route to BluHostel. Property was clean, Receptionist kind and helpful, overall good value. Would recommend.

I had a problem with the shared kitchen, because at times it was left messy by other guest. However, I spoke to Mirna about whatever problems or concerns I had and she fixed it.

I like the price, location and the fact that the room was comfortable. Also Mirna. one of the receptionist is very thoughtful. She goes above and beyond to make sure the guests are satisfied.

We would have been happy about a real cooking area and a comfortable common area - both of it is not really existing.

Our room had a comfortable bed, enough space for our luggage, an air conditioning and a good bathroom. We were close to supermarkets, restaurants and also quite close to the metro.

I had a problem with the toilet which didn't flush. When I asked the staff to fix this, someone came to fix it, but the toilet was not working again. I couldn't use it for most of my stay because they told me that the plumber was not in town. This was a bit inconvenient as you can imagine. I asked if I could change rooms since I had already extended my stay, but there were no rooms available so they gave me a key to another room in another floor ( just for the use of toilet) I feel like the communication with the staff was bad, because they seemed to not care and were giving false promises every time I communicated regarding this issue. There was no cleaning of the room while I was there. Also the "kitchen" is tiny and looked dirty. I would not stay here again since the attitude of the staff was so careless and the toilet issue was handled so poorly.

No hot water, This is really not like a Hostel, this is like a apartment (with no kitchen) they do not clean daily, or anything like that, the locks on the doors, suck, not very secure. Its Ok, but not what I expected for a hostel.

There was only a mini fridge in the basement for a 5 floor hotel. No hostel vibe, no common area, no table where you could have a meal. The kitchenette was really small with only two cups and not enough silverware. Again, for a 5 floor hotel with plenty of rooms on each floor. If you want a clean place to sleep for a night, then it's good. For socializing, fridge space and kitchen commodities, look somewhere else. Lacks soul
