It's a small hostel about 15 minutes walk from the centre of town but close to the start of the India Dormida hike. A nice breakfast cooked fresh of eggs, toast and fruit. The bed in our room was really comfortable.

Great location close to the hike La India Dormida, very friendly host and nice breakfast (pancakes, scrambled eggs and fruit) To use the hot shower here is the tip. On top of the shower head move the switch to the black dot. But then the most important part. Don't open the tap all the way!! The water won't get warm because it's going to fast through the shower head. So open it just a little bit. The less water comes out the hotter it gets. And here you go...you will enjoy a nice warm shower :) For the price it's a comfortable room but don't expect luxury. The room is not sound proof so bring earplugs for a good sleep. The kitchen is great and free to use

The location is a bit out of town, but next to the starting point of the famous trail. And it was quite. The room was big and we had a Moskito net at the window and the breakfast in the morning was really good. The owner could help us with getting the right bus and with the hikes. We had a lovely stay.

A little far away from restaurants, the bus station and “town.” Staff isn’t there most of the day. Shared bathroom can be a bit annoying if other rooms are full.

Small hostel with only four rooms, all a decent size. WiFi worked well, shower was hot. Quiet street and close to certain hikes. Breakfast included was simple but filling and a nice perk.

The sheets on the bed did not feel ¨fresh¨. I believe I woke up with red bedbug bites.

The fan in the room is noisy, so you have to choose to ignore it or turn it off and deal with the room being a bit stuffy. Not too hot though, so it’s not a huge inconvenience. Showers are just cold water, so hop in right after your hike!

Breakfast was lovely, location was good. Very close to the start of La India Dormida, and a short walk to the street with most of the restaurants. Nice hammock spot to sit and relax too!

There was a septic line near the room that dispelled a foul odor, not all the time and not extremely strong, but at times it was unpleasant. We spoke the host who received the observation well and said he would be correcting it.

Great Location in El Valle, everyone there was very nice and treated very kindly. Room was very cozy and kitchen was super nice to have. Super quiet spot. Also it is very near la India Dormida and Cima Iguana. Super Markets and the center all in walking distance.

There is only one bathroom to share with everyone. It is a bit out of town.

The owner was very welcoming. They kitchen is nice and clean. The place is clean. It is close to a supermarket and hiking trail.

If the hostel is full, the fridge is too small. Furthermore one shelf is used by the hostel. The owner should write a note " please ring the bell next house if nobody's there" for the welcoming or further informations about the lodge.

Very calm location, super clean. Different breakfast every day. No music. Few rooms and a kitchen. Many thanks to Joaquin!
