A moderately priced room with a simple tub.

This hotel was exactly what I needed. I was in David for medical tests. Because my home is in Boquete, about a half hour's drive away, I decided to also run a few errands. My experience with fine hotels has been at conventions. I expect the restaurant to be fair, but overpriced. The Ciudad de David exceeded all my expectations in every way. The menu allowed a variety of tastes and prices. I eat small meals and most menus can't fit this limitation. Not only did I find fair prices, moderate quantities of food, and excellent tasting dishes, the serving staff was attentive and kind.

It is not a complaint, rather it is a recommendation. The pool should be open longer, since David in the summer is very hot.

The breakfast served is complete, nutritious and above all delicious.I can say that it was very pleasant to enjoy it to the fullest. My thanks to Rey and. Edgar for the cordial treatment and professionalism when attending and welcoming the guests. and without forgetting Katerine and Paola always willing to give a good service. Thank you very much everyone, very good job.

Check in was slow as there was only one person working. Other staff didn't seem to want to help even though there was a queue. The lifts were slow as one seems not to be working. Pool area was in shade after midday. No loungers provided.

It was a pity that the swimming pool was located in the shade when we arrived in the afternoon and the water was cold.

We've had an update and stayed in the junior suite. The room was amazing! Good beds, nice view, clean and the hotel was for us (near to the bus station) on a good location.

Swimming pool facing north, never in the sun....and gym was very basic. Don't expect a fully stocked gym.

Amazingly comfortable for a stopover in Panama. Breakfast was superb and complete. Beds were heavenly Personnel was lovely, good vibe in the bar. Walking distance of busstation

Lovely hotel. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite and it was very good - spacious, huge and very comfortable bed. The secure parking was free, the breakfast was very good and we had dinner in the hotel's restaurant which was also very good.

There was nothing we didn't like.

If you find yourself needing to stay a night or two in David, you can't go wrong with this hotel. It's modern and very well run. Rooms are spacious and quiet and beds are comfortable. Very well equipped bathrooms with nice products. Front desk staff are English speaking, pleasant and helpful. The hotel restaurant is excellent and the breakfast buffet is outstanding!

Well I struggle to find negatives but if I must.. The pool has no lounge chairs and the street exhaust sometimes fill the air in the pool area. Perhaps some lounge chairs and fans to blow away the exhaust.. But both of these are minor.

I honestly think this was one of my best hotel stays in any country for many years! The room, the food, the service, the ambiance, the parking it was all exceptional. Our 8 day stay could not have been better. While ALL the staff were very good Paola in the restaurant was even above that! I highly recommend this hotel.

On a constructive criticism Abdiel at the front desk needs to lower his attitude a bit.

This is the first time we stayed at the hotel in since 2019 and were happy with the updates and remodeling that improved our experience. As always, the staff and restaurant were great, we were upgraded to a King suite which was very comfortable, large bathroom, great showers and hot water with good pressure. Little details are not missed and provides for a overall great experience. Our flight was cancelled due to weather and we were able to get a room last minute, warm up with soup in the restaurant and rest up for the next days flight.

Central location, super comfy beds/pillows, quiet rooms, friendly helpful staff, pool and sauna were amazing, free breakfast was great! So sad we could only stay one night, should we ever be back in David, this is where we’ll be staying again!!!
