Kayak in which you can explore surroundings by yourself. Geraldine is an excellent cook. She surprised us with many great recipes by herself. Especially worthy is dinner, for 24 dollars you got cocktail, salad, main dish and dessert. Once we opted for a private tour with Denis to Dolphin Bay - on the way there, we stopped to see three toed sloths in the neighborhood of our lodge, we had three different spots for snorkeling. Unfortunately, we couldn't see dolphins in the bay, but on the return trip, we were able to spot one. You can see a lot of birds straight from the lodge. We really enjoyed our stay.

The included breakfast was a wonderful treat every morning! Guests have the choice from 3 options. Tours into the area can be booked and arranged by the friendly hosts. Pickup /dropoff with the boat was always on time. We felt thoroughly taken care of by our awesome host family.

This a me problem, but I realized how I like to go out and look at nature, but I don't want nature coming into my room. We had cute geckos that came to visit which was fine but during the day we constantly had to help wasps find their way back outside, but to be honest we hung out on the porch during the day as it was cooler so it really wasn't a problem after a while and definitely would not deter me for coming back The only suggestion...coverage over the boat or availability of water gear for guest..ie rain poncho. Couple of times we got caught in the rain or the seas were a little rough and rain gear would have been helpful for us not to get completely soaked. But a very small detail and also would not prevent me from staying again.

This place was beautiful, relaxing. and off the beaten trek. When I booked, I immediately got a message from the host (Geraldine) checking to see if we needed private transportation to the island. Since she was not located on the main island I happily excepted as all the water taxis from Alimente went to Bocas and the private water taxi went straight to the island. We found out that driver was the Geraldines husband, and he was amazing taking us snorkeling and to main island when every we needed. Geraldine was so accommodating even allowing us to check in a little earlier than her normal hours. THE FOOD...I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing it was. Breakfast was included in our price, but she also provided lunch and dinner options and we took advantage of all three and we could never eat all the food prepared. ROOM...I fit out needs for three people and she had industrial fans in place that we slept very comfortable at night, with hot water, mini bar and a actual toilet (not a pee toilet which some of the lodges claim we would use and walk to a flushable toilet). Beds included a queen and a twin, we had a seating area and a desk. Bathroom had a huge walk-in shower with a rainfall shower head and the water was always hot. We had huge, covered porch/deck area with a large table for dining and a sitting area.

The location was just amazing we were collected by Denis and taken to the accommodation by boat,we were then met on the pier by Geraldine.the Eco lodge was stunning total perfection with amazing views. Geraldine could not do enough for us and her cooking was the best we have tasted.we felt totally spoiled throughout our stay.we had access to the kayak and swimming gear. We will be back x

Being on the mangrove makes it impossible to walk anywhere. Despite all measures that the hosts take to ward off mosquitoes we still had many bites.

Easy access to snorkeling and use of the kayak. The food was really good. Being the only guests makes it really quiet. They were really attentive to our needs. The reefs we saw on the excursion were amazing.
