How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

All cabinets were outdated and it can take some good cleaning. The safety box was not working.
It is an outdated property with the kitchen and in a great location. It has a private garden on the other side of the building. This hotel is in the center of the downtown of Boquete close to everything: parks, shopping, transportation and the bus station.

What impacted 2 out of my 4 days there was a large group of students staying. Gone was any quiet or privacy since my room faced the street. No staff was around after 5 pm and there was skateboarding on the walkways of the hotel and gatherings in front of my room. I was young once but I'm not now and I'm paying to stay in a hotel that offers some peace and quiet
The property is right downtown which is great for first time visitors. Everything is within short walking distance. The manager, Josue, was extremely friendly and even took me to a cellular store to help translate which I appreciated

The kitchens are very poorly equipped. I had to ask for cooking pots and pans and they were old and worn. Only one dull knife was supplied. Only one burner worked. I had planned to save some money by cooking for myself but it proved very difficult in the kitchen.
Great location. Grounds are very well kept. Nice and accommodating staff. Bathrooms are nice

We booked the one bedroom suite with sofa bed (which is more expensive than the junior suite). When we arrived we noticed that it didn't have any outdoor space whilst the junior suite has a terrace. When I asked they mentioned that I didn't have the outdoor space since I booked the downtown suite (used a different name). Just avoid getting room number 2 because this is the only one without any outdoor spance.
Fridge didn't cool properly and they replaced the fridge during our stay

DS was ok but it’s not the most comfortable room and bed and some furniture had dust. The location is good if you want to be in the middle of neighborhood but if you want to enjoy nature and views of Boquete is not the right place.

We were given room number 2. No view whatsoever as the windows faced the road! The sofa was not very clean and the whole apartment was very dated. We could not get the TV to work and when trying to intact reception there was nobody there, we tried to call the number’s provided but nobody answered !! There are far better places in this lovely town so don’t bother with this one!

Unfortunately the apartment was full of moth butterflies, and there is no AC so it is hot sometimes and there is a feeling of not enough air even if you open the windows
The location is great and the size of the apartment is great also. The shower is also good, hot water and nice pressure.

Nothing really to comment here. Some missing courtesies like bottled water would've been nice in the room, and more bath supplies.
For the money spent, you get what you expected. I liked the central location. Everything was a walking distance. There is only one staff, so they do what they can. We missed some bath supplies, but when we notified, we get it. The room was a good size for my party.

During our entire stay there was no hot water in the bathroom sink nor in the kitchen sink. We brought this to the attention of the front office. They never got back to us about the problem, nor did they ever correct it. This was in Unit/Apartment #1.
