CanadaIt’s an old complex. A few things are in need of repairs (plugs, lamp not working). We booked the combo,3 tours. Expensive. The teleferico is really worth it. The boat tour on Lake Gatun, not so much. They’re going way too fast on the lake (200hp engine) It’s better to walk down to the marina and rent a private boat (cheaper and slower, so you have time to admire the scenery).
The location in the rainforest is splendid! We saw monkeys, toucans, quetzals, sloths, caimans,turtles, etc. 2 nights were perfect! They have 3 restaurants, a pool bar, an activity desk, a large pool area with chairs and towels. The room was comfortable and very quiet.

United StatesI understand they have to sell rooms, but it was clear that they did a lot of group tours and we were traveling as a couple. Also, the buffet was great for breakfast but we really didn’t enjoy it for dinner and opted for the à la carte restaurant.
Location! Plus the staff was very friendly & accommodating! Rooms were nice with an amazing view if you are on 3rd floor or up - do not recommend lower level floors.

Gamboa itself did not seem to have any readily accessible shops. Finally I left a hat in my room which was never found!

GermanyBeds are a bit uncomfortable. The hotel seems quite old which u can see in the rooms. Bathrooms also could use some renovations.
The location is really nice. Also the staff is very friendly. Breakfast Buffet has a very broad selection and is freshly prepared. Very good.

FinlandThis is a fantastic place with one of the best pool areas I have seen. Very good and extensive breakfast. The dinner buffet was also good, but very expensive and therefore not worth the money. We saw many different birds from our balcony on the 7th floor. Their Tour Desk gets a flying grade!!! We never got any satisfactory answers to our questions and the prices of the tours were ridiculously high! We got much cheaper and better tours with some local operators in Gamboa...

It’s a fabulous and fascinating location. The free evening tour was great, as was the pool. Food also excellent. We loved walking out from the hotel and the nearby pipeline walk. Gamboa should be on everyone’s list.
