Expensive. Tours are disappointing for the price. We booked sloth tour at 4pm. When we got there there was no guide so told to go alone, which we did. The place literally closed with us in there and sloths were taken away at 4 15. So make sure to go there earlier...just walked down. It is really set up for people who don't want to do anything independently ( which is fine ) and great for families. I asked for hike routes and was initially told ' go here it is the easy one ' once I explained I didn't want easy they were helpful but I think the hiking etc should be more widely promoted to give more options than just sitting by the pool or paying for a tour. Bit of a money making place.

Obviously it's in a great location. Breakfast was good. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable.

This hotel would benefit from some TLC. It is fairly dated and unloved. The food options are limited, and the buffet especially, very overpriced considering the options and quality available.

I paid extra for a Water view, which I did not get. I asked to move to a different room which they did after waiting several hours. The new room had broken air conditioning which they attempted to fix, but did not repair. also, they were redoing the swimming pool deck, and there were only a handful of chairs available for all of the guests at the entire hotel.

Nothing - in fact, we would have stayed an extra day just to enjoy the hotel if I knew how we were going to enjoy it.

Amazing view from our room balcony and from the hotel public areas. Amazing sunrise and sunsets - enjoyed the sounds of the jungle around us, particularly the howler monkeys. Great hammock included on balcony. Very fun, attractive, refreshing swimming pool. Surprisingly delicious buffet dining - breakfast, lunch and dinner. Excursions offered right in lobby were very interesting and worthwhile.

Only 6 sun loungers for the whole resort. I booked a 5 night stay and didn’t manage to get one, even resorted to sitting on a wall a couple of days to get some sun. Be warned they hold functions so it can be very lively - not tranquil or relaxing. Limited service on Mondays. Expensive for what you get. Amenities are poorly explained.

Fabulous place to stay. Great location which gives you everything you want from time in the rainforest but in very comfortable surroundings. Staff were brilliant, especially Omar who is incredibly good, and the food was excellent. We had a terrific 5-day stay

it’s not well maintained. it’s in disrepair, dirty, and the food and service are terrible. we made multiple reservations for activities where they would fail to write down our reservation or explain what we needed to do to follow up on the reservation (don’t understand why we would need to follow up, if you make a reservation you should be able to show up at the right time and participate). we would show up at the time and then be pulled aside, humiliated and disrespected.

the rainforest is beautiful. the bed was comfortable. the air conditioning worked. you can tell that is once was beautiful.

The staff that sell the tours did not provide good information on what to do in or out of the hotel, you need to look for information on your own about Panamá.

Beautiful view, really calm so families can get to relax.

Bad service, despite previously communicating the intention to cancel a reservation they didn’t refund the money (they said they will). Also confirmed (after I received the fee from booking in my credit card), called back the hotel, they say they will look into the case and see how they could “help me out”, almost 2 months have gone by and still haven’t receive an answer, nor my money or part of the money.

Not much at all. Normally I moan about staff when I review this resort but this time, they were fantastic

When we checked in, the place was very quiet and we were chatting nicely with the receptionist and as we arrived early our room wasn't ready. But after a few mins talking, she said its now ready and they upgraded us to a suite! We come to this resort often, even though I normally moan about the service but this time it was fantastic. We also did the night drive and because the hotel was nearly empty, we got an hour free night safari rather than 30mins. Great stay.

This resort is old and definitely needs some work - room updates and amenities-wise. For the price point, I was expecting a much higher quality room as well as food options and accessibility to activities. You will spend some extra money, the food is expensive and mediocre, then all the activities cost quite a bit. I was told there was no hiking around by their staff and I would need to pay to hire a guide two days in advance - but there were public hiking trails just minutes down that road. I would not stay again. Do a day trip from the city if you want to visit.

The food is terrible.buffet is overpriced .the other option is the bar food which is quite terrible.so i would bring your own food if you go.the staff is mostly spanish speakers so you are screwed if you speak english.

Seems tired and sadly past it’s prime. Wristbands and buffets and achingly pricey tours. We spent two nights but one was enough. Food was ok, but staff everywhere seemed bored and unhappy and that’s not a good sign.

Stunning location and view, great pool. We enjoyed the boat tour.

It is a little outdated and needs some remodeling work to bring the property up to today’s standards. It looks like the property is still in the 1950’s but there is a lot o potential if they invested some money into it.

bit of a run down place. maintainance lacking, but wow, fantastic rainforest area. overpriced as far as facilities are concerned. buffet lunch and supper misses inspiration. breakfast is super.
