The whole place closes down by 19.30 and there is no where to go. There are no shops so make sure you get whatever you need in town (50 mins away). Menu is mostly fish which unfortunately I don't eat so not much choice.

Lovely room very clean and nice with a small fridge, warm shower and even towels for the beach, lovely staff and great breakfast. Located two minutes from the busstop in front of the beach in a very beautiful garden. We loved our stay very much.

This place is so idyllic. True island character. Simple yet quality. A sense of style in many touches.Best beds! And sheets were cotton! Or at least 50%. Beautifully situated on the shore. Staff so friendly and warm and helpful. Enjoyed the tranquility, remote feeling, and the walk to Playa Estrella.

Staff a bit rude , breakfast included is a limited choose as I don’t eat egg the only option was a “small” fruit salad because in the restaurant they offer a normal size one . I ordered fruit salad and a coffee after 25 minutes they said that they only have pineapple . I don’t eat eggs all the other options in the menu are with eggs they even didn’t propose alternative as a slice of bread would have been totally fine . Not so nice , then I have been sold two different days for the same price a bottle of 1.5l of water and the following day 2l . Restaurant is pricey for the area but food is good .

The restaurant was closing already at 7pm, no chance to get something after that time, there are no other restaurants or shops around. Quality and diversity of meals could be improved. Some sand flies on the beach.

Nothing except for sand fleas on the beach , I would bring coconut oil next time as someone had recommended that to me .

Great value. Located just steps from the secluded beach. Monkeys were swinging in the palm trees right outside my bungalow . Host señora was very accommodating and friendly. Bungalow had comfortable beds with a nice updated bathroom and a deck with table and chairs .Two beach towels and umbrellas were provided. Delicious food from the restaurant on site that offers amazing views of the ocean! Kayaks were available for use. Starfish beach is within walking distance and easy to kayak to!. This location is the last stop for the bus so it’s easy to catch to and from Bocas Town . It’s less than 45 minutes to the airport via bus which costs only $2 and quicker by taxi which cost me $30.

Family-run place that is your perfect base to enjoy the time of your life at the stunning Playa Estrella. Sparkingly clean accommodation set up in a lush garden and with its own beautiful beach, this place was our must-visit stop on our second trip to Panamá. The rooms are newly built, they come with a cozy veranda, great breakfast (and good local cuisine from their restaurant). Easily accessible by local bus from Bocas Town. An amazing family-friendly stay.

Shower had hot water but was too hot and couldn't adjust it to a happy medium..so either too hot or cold. Room could of done with having a kettle as Restaurant shuts by 7pm and no where to get a cup of tea / hot drink in the evening.

Right on the beach, 10 minutes walk from playa de estrellas. Beautiful Room and balcony.. Restaurant at hand on the property. Easy to reach by public bus, takes you literally right to the hotel from bocas Central for $2.

did not receive what we reserved and paid for. incorrect description on booking it stated king and queen bed but only had queen and double and only option to solve problem was the owner asked us to leave property it not possible as it was late and road back was in very bad condition and feel we should be compensated

Overall nothing - wished we’d stay longer. Important to note the restaurant shuts really early (last orders at 18:30) and there is nowhere else to eat.

A gem of a place - delightful, comfy room and great restaurant. Very friendly staff. You can take a beautiful walk to starfish beach about a little coastal path from your room. Great loungers to lie on overlooking the sea where you can order cocktails.

You can hear everything from you neibours. We were unlucky with noisy family. Their kids were most of the time in front of our window. The tap water is not drinkable and you are welcomed with a small bottle of water (0,2l). There is no store close by to buy anything. It’s better to stop in a shop in Bocas before going to here.

It’s close to Starfish beach and the location is nice. The beds are comfortable and the room very clean. We could have a late check out which helped us a lot. Bus leaves every 2 hours to Boca town and without late check out we had to stay in rain for an hour. Food is nice.

Nothing I didn’t like specifically about this hotel (Ok, maybe paying 7,5$ for a small plate of pineapple), but prices in Panama are too high comparing to the quality of what is being offered.

The cleanliness of the room was good at first glance, however there was some kind of mosquito or insect infestation as both myself and my partner came out of one night of our stay completely bitten on every exposed part of our bodies. Ive been to Central America before, and I know that it comes with the territory, butI haven't been exposed to it when in a closed space where I was staying. The noise of the room location was horrible, mostly due to a property dog placed too close to it, that seemed to bark at every shadow there was during the evening. Not the dogs fault, but for three straight nights it would bark at everything and made it very hard to sleep

The breakfast was traditional Central American offerings, and we enjoyed the breakfast and service. What I didn't like was that I clearly paid for breakfast included on my booking, and while checking in, the person checking us in said that I didn't have that purchased. An honest mistake, but not how I wanted to start off my stay.

Food at the restaurant is incredibly over priced and not very good. If you stay here, bring lots of water and snacks. Very isolated. No overnight staff so if you had an emergency you may be unable to find help. Cramped room. Cold shower. Unreliable power.
