However, it took over a week to get an answer with regards to the airport shuttle that they are supposed to provide, at a cost, with useless booking.com messages up and down. When they finally said they had no shuttle, I complained with booking. com for false information on their site. Then they suddenly did have a shuttle at a price about 3 times higher than it should be. It was the same when we needed a taxi again to leave. They could not help, they said. Yet, we heard their drivers that bring guests to the zoo or the walks, say several times that a schedule changed slightly because they had to go to the airport or other places. In short, the hotel is good, and they offer nice activities for free, but the knowledge at the reception concerning organisation of transport (even their own, we waited 30mins for one of their tours booked the day before) is very bad. They could at least phone a taxi for a guest, or give a WhatsApp number.

Everything at the hotel was fine, the free guided walks, the room, the surrounding greens, the friendliness of the staff.

it’s a part of the rainforest, great location. all members of staff are kind and helpful. very clean spacious room. there are so many activities one can do in the hotel itself, such as looking at birds and crocodile! good breakfast.

Owners have not invested in maintaining the facility overall. Some lobby carpets on the eighth floor are ragged and need to be replaced. Room furnishings were sturdy yet dated. Many showed signs of age with nicks and stains. The pool area BBQ pit was completely rusted and unusable. The wading pool was under repair. We were not able to adjust the room temperature.

The staff was friendly and very accommodating. They went out of their way to get soy milk for us. Exceptionally good vegan options are available at the buffet. The golf course did not interest us, yet the grounds are well kept and makes for a good walk around the course.

The food options were Not easy as vegetarian. There are a lot of people using Day Passes so there is Not much space for hotel guests at the Pool. It had a lot of Events going on (but very quiet rooms).

The tours they offer are great. Butterfly and bird walk where you can See a lot! Also you should Do the Golf cart Tour in the afternoon and in the morning take the free shuttle to the soberania rainforest, walk around and Look around for animals. The beds were soft

Some of the reception staff were not really motivated to help. There were phases when the pool was dirty. But all in all it was a great stay.

The location is awesome, the complimentary tours were one of the best nature experiences we had so far and the view from the balcony was also quite impressive

Booking. Com lists this property as”All Inclusive “ it is not. Only breakfast is included all other meals and drinks must be paid for. Not all inclusive. This needs to be discerned at time of booking in order that travelers can budget accordingly.

The food!! Especially if you are vegetarian. Pizza or salad are your only options and the service is incredibly slow. Expect 1 hour & 1/2 from sitting down to food arriving. In one case it was an extra hour on top for our chips to arrive. There are no other food options nearby. It was incredibly busy when we stayed. One night there was a wedding, 2 Christmas parties and a prom all at the same time. Every night was like this ( time of year probably had a big impact). We still had a great time but this is probably why food service is so slow. Breakfast was also not great. Plastic cutlery!! There is no need for plastic cutlery for breakfast and sometimes other times.The hostel supposedly is trying to be eco friendly but we saw a lot of situations where this was definitely not the case!!

Excellent location!! Tamarind monkeys, Howler monkeys and capuchin monkeys all within the grounds!!! Plus hundreds of bird species! Incredible! They have nature walking trails on site (just ask a staff member or Carlos to show you where they start). They offer tours on site. We loved the sloth/frog/butterfly house tour. But highly recommend the golf buggy tour around the grounds with Carlos. It was our favourite! Go on it to find out why. Rooms were incredibly clean and the pools were lovely! Quite grand for the price.

The pillows were uncomfortable and it was hard to make the room warmer than freezing. We did not love the breakfast buffet, but ate enough and it was satisfactory.

We went to the hotel for a quick get away. The pool area had good ambiance at night, and the dinner we ordered was delicious and well priced. The margarita I had at dinner was exceptional! The room was clean and comfortable and the shower amenities were nice. The views from our balcony and all around the hotel were really beautiful rainforest scenes. We thought the hotel was a great value for money.

Great location near to Gamboa and the city good sized pool and a few short walks in the jungle Staff very attentive esp after I woke up with a leaking ceiling and had to be re roomed at 2 am - a bottle of wine and a cheese board awaiting me the next afternoon!

No negative aspects - we enjoyed so much...

We stayed 5 days and enjoyed so much. The location was perfect (we had a private hired car) and it was so easy to drive around. The great surprise was the good birding opportunities around, very pleased to tick so many lifers. The breakfast was very rich, the other meals just standard.

The staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful, despite being loads of them, they spent most of the time chatting to each other and completely ignoring us. The reception staff were the worst, I would go so far as to say they were rude. The pool area was chaotic with loud music blasting and mess everywhere. The bathroom changing area was slippery and dangerous. We wanted to see the sloths during our visit but you actually need to book for this and it was full already. The hotel is dated and some areas were very dirty. Overall a disappointing visit and we definitely won’t go again.

My only complaint is that the walls for the neighboring rooms are too thin. I could hear the other guests when they were talking or playing the TV.

The staff was friendly, the food was delicious and they offered tours of their animal sanctuaries around the hotel grounds. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there.

Poor wifi, nowhere to get drinks or snacks, only food is from restaurant which closes at 10pm. Quite far away from everything so no stores or anything around. Hotel is kept very cool, and nowhere to buy a sweatshirt or jacket. Lots of business people, not very many leisure visitors so as a solo travel, not the best place to stay.

Breakfast was delicious and had variety. Different choices on different days. Room was super nice. Beautiful view of jungle. Nice short hike through the jungle with a knowledgeable guide. Learned lots about the plants and animals in the area.
