Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesNo blanket, only a sheet for cover while sleeping. Even though Panama City is warm, it is quite cold in the room at night even with the AC turned off. Floor in the room is not very clean. Walls are so thin that children running around at the hallway and banging on the neighboing room’s door at 2am can be heard very clearly.
Location is good, close to metro station

ChileTowels are a bit small, I found a hair in my sheets, and the floor wasn't that clean either (even though I had to wait until 15h, which is fine, but at least the room should be well cleaned)
It's a standard hotel for a couple of nights max. The stuff is nice, very helpful and friendly. I was in 2 different rooms because of 2 different reservation days, and both windows were tinted with a white thing, which makes it look dirty from the inside. Rooms are well sized for a couple.

PanamaThere were some issues with the elevator. I got stuck in one a couple of times and had to forcefully open it with my hands. Also, the shower’s water was too cold.

South AfricaIt was good the have communal kitchen facility, but no plates, crockery or cutlery. We had to go buy cups to make coffee, and used a clip-knife to cut food. We were also warned that a fumigation would take place in the rooms and had to give our consent to do it in our room. We ducked the consent issue, but the whole building smelled bad and gave me headaches. We couldn't get rid of whatever was in the air as the room windows did not open.
Breakfast was a bit non-nutritional. The eggs were good, but sausages or ham was not the best. The restaurant staff were fantastic! The pool and roof area was great. Fantastic to be near a metro station.

PanamaMaybe we were unlucky during our stay. But the hotel besides the reception was super dirty. Our room smell like humidity and dirt, we only get two towels, not even for drying our hands. And the extra towels we got look dirty so we use it for the floor, jeje. Also, our curtain couldn't closed at all so we could see the lights during the night. The bed is comfortable. The carpet on the hallway looked like it wasn't clean in months. The gym had fungus on the roof and the floor was dirty. The gym itself smells so weird that you could feel your throat itchy after a couple of minutes of being inside. On two occasions, the door from the lift didn't open very well, we thought we would get stuck next time. Anyway.. Unfortunately, I only recommend the place for the price and location. In our case even with that, I would prefer other options. If they clean more often, maybe remove the dirty carpet on the hallway, give a better maintenance of the interiors, their the social area (gym and pool) painting and keeping it clean, this hotel would be 11 put of 10.
The location is the best. Just less than 5 min walking to metro station. 15 min walking to cinta costera. Several restaurant options around. 15 min to via Argentina where you can find bars/restaurants. Supermarkets around

AustriaCouldn't use pool until after check in at 3pm. After a long transatlantic flight it would have been good.
As my flight arrived early morning, I couldn't check in until 3pm but could store my luggage. Thought it a little mean I couldn't use the pool till I'd checked in though. Great location for the excellent metro to go to the airport or the bus station. Food shops and fast food restaurants close by

United KingdomAll of the staff are excellent with one exception. A new gray haired employee who is moody, petulent and clearly delights in acting in an obstructive and unhelpful manner. Takes his position of minor authority far too seriously! But didn't succeed in spoiling my stay.
Its good value for money, with large rooms and has a cool rooftop pool and jacuzzi. The restaurant in the lobby does an excellent breakfast.

United StatesThe hotel facilities are old, the drainage in our room's bathroom was blocked, and the water flooded over our feet after taking a shower. We stayed for two nights, and no one cleaned the room or changed towels on the second day, so we had to ask the front desk for towels. When we first moved into the bathroom, there were only large bath towels, no smaller towels, and no foot towels for when we took a shower.
The hotel staff is friendly and responsive. The room is large and quiet.

CanadaRestaurant had loud music and the food was only okay. Room temp was set to 19C and it was cold. I asked if they could turn the fan down and front desk said someone would come in ten minutes and they never came. I finally asked for a blanket to a staff person in the hall, as there was only a sheet on the bed. No towels so I phoned down and had to call again an hour later to have towels brought up.
