Someone from the hotel staff accidentally walked into our room while we were sleeping. I think they made a mistake. It wasn't a problem and they left immediately when we said something.

Great shower, takes a minute to get hot but it's very good pressure, shower cabin and everything. The hotel is quiet (unless it's Saturday and the whole city is blasting fireworks and dance music). Clean. Has room service with food, receptionist can arrange taxi pickup. This hotel is also very secure with walls and locked front door.

Just perfect - lovely room and excellent location. The hotel itself has so much character and a beautiful courtyard with lovely views. The staff were so helpful - we went on the inca trail and were able to leave our luggage there. It was a perfect base for us in Cusco.

Place is located quite close to all tourist places in Cusco, and is located on a nice alley. Room was comfortable and neat. Courteous and hospitable staff. I do not know Spanish, but I had to go to another hotel upon checkout at this hotel and needed some information before getting there. The front desk at Amaru Colonial was kind enough to help by calling the other hotel, speaking in Spanish and getting the information. It was really helpful, so thanks for that.

Insane views of Cusco!! Our room was just perfect and very clean. Breakfast really tasty. A bit tough reaching the place on the top of the hill, but it’s the price to pay for the view. Next to an amazing food market and very close to San Blas.

I would like to highlight three negative points during my stay: 1. The room’s power outlets are not in good condition, as none of them fit properly when we needed to plug in our phones to charge. In addition, there are very few outlets in the room—only two. 2. When I needed to place an order from the hotel’s menu, 30 minutes after placing the order, I was called and informed that only a ham and cheese sandwich was available. 3. The hairdryer stopped working. My wife was using it, and it suddenly stopped functioning.

Positive points: 1. Flexibility for check-in. 2. It’s possible to leave the luggage at the hotel after check-out.

We had a lovely room with a view of the garden. The breakfast was as expected. We could leave our bags at the hotel while we were doing the Inca trail. The staff are very friendly and can assist in arranging taxis to the airport when we are leaving Cusco.

A really well organised and lovely hotel. All the staff are really helpful and friendly, the breakfast is good and the hotel is only a few minutes from the main square.

The street to get to the hotel can be daunting, especially if you're not yet used to the city, as the sidewalks are very narrow and it is up a hill. It is in an older building that is showing some signs of wear, like a large crack in the floor of the room, but it was easy enough to work around. The heater in my room didn't work, but I packed warm pajamas and was ok with just that. The soundproofing is terrible, so bring ear plugs.

It is close to the Plaza de Armas, only a 10 minute walk at a leisurely pace. The room was large and kept clean. The shower gets nice and hot. The breakfast was good. All in all, I liked staying here.

The sink water is cold with no setting for hot water. But it's understandable given that a lot of hotels in Cusco don't have hot water. At least the shower has a hot setting, so all good.

Beautiful hotel, amazing view of the city. Friendly staff, helpful with planning your trip. Good breakfast, room service, and very clean.

This accommodation was very cute and in a great location within Cusco. The staff was friendly and helped with our luggage. We could walk to so many different restaurants and shops from the hotel as well. The breakfast was a nice buffet spread with a good amount of seating as well. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the hillside of Cusco which was beautiful at night time when all the lights came on. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cusco!
