How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I liked everything
A great location close to everything. The people are very friendly and willing to help with whatever you need. I loved it. A quiet area close to markets, restaurants in the historic area. The hotel has an elevator which makes everything easier.

The hotel is at a central location - it’s walkable to tons of restaurants and spots. Also the staff is very helpful and supportive - I love how the friendly administrator Jesus and other concierge staff helped me in many ways! The room is clean, and it has room clean service everyday. 24-hour concierge and hot water are a big plus. Also, the hotel has a very reasonable price.

Sometimes the hot water came out cold, but the staff promptly resolved the issue
The hotel is very comfortable and beautiful. The food is delicious and well priced. The breakfast is GREAT. All the personnel are very polite and caring.

Great hotel. Good breakfast, convenient location, and helpful staff. Some roms can be a little bright and noisy at night but not an issue with an eye mask or ear plugs. Rooms and well equipped, courtyard is beautiful.

Small rooms, not provided drinking water though they have hot water with coca leaf infusions available at lobby.
Fantastic location, 2 mins walk to San Pedro rail station, 10 mins walk to Main Square.

Almost all power outlets were unusable (only the one behind a cabinet was working). Noise due to renovation during the day.

Amazing place to stay through and through. beautiful building and courtyard. Very professional, polite, kind and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. wished I could have stayed longer, but they were full when I went to book more days after my first stay. Don't miss your chance like me!!

When you take a shower there was water everywhere on the floor, the drain was higher that floor so the water would go down in it. So you have to take the towels to clean it up and they was soaking wet. I would like to take a spa bath but the thing to get the water stop from going into the drain was missing. And check out already at 10:00😱 but that’s how it is. That’s there rule.. so fine
It was a nice place very close to everything good breakfast good beds I slept very well nice staff and friendly. I like the hotel and room except the bath room. But again maybe it just was that bathroom I got, so in general it was a good stay and I would like to recommend them.

Internet did not work all the time and sometimes the water in the bathroom was not hot. Breakfast is very simple too. But other than that, it a good deal.
It’s close to the main points of Cusco and the staff was very nice and helpful. Room was ok, pretty decent and clean.

Comfortable room close to San Pedro train station and sights. We were able to store our luggage whilst we visited Machu Picchu which was super convenient. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to organise taxi transfers and a tour of Cusco

The room was a little bit small and the breakfast was adequate.
Location and staff were excellent! Felt safe and comfortable at all times. The shower was superb and the beds very comfortable.

There was no safe box in the room.
The room was pretty authentic but very clean. Breakfast was very good and well served. Location was very convenient, walking distance to the main plazas and squares. The staff was very attentive, pleasant and responsive to all questions and requests. Special thanks to Adonis at the reception.

The hotel was wonderful! The staff was super friendly and helpful, they even let me check in an hour earlier, which was very nice. There was a decent hot water in the shower, warm blankets, they gave me a hair dryer and an adaptor to charge my phone. I liked that at the lobby there was hot water and mate leaves, which was very helpful since I felt a bit sick because of the altitude. There is a restaurant at the hotel and a beautiful garden. The breakfast started at 6 am, perfect for those who take early morning tours. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The hotel is located in a nice area, right next to the San Pedro mercado and in about 10 minutes walking distance from Plaza de Armas. You don't have to climb to get to the hotel which is great when you don't feel well because of the altitude. I would stay again!
