Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNeeds good and proper cleaning in the room especially in bathroom. The mattress and pillows not comfortable. No hot water on our first day in our room. It was good when we returned after 2 days trekking and they transfer us to another room the shower is better with hot water working. The staff friendly but mostly can't speak English.
The location is perfect 5 mins. walk to historical site and main center and everything is very closed. The shops and restaurants are all closed. Only very tiring up and down the steps and breathless up hill to the hotel which are normal living in Cusco Peru. But beautiful all around and colourful. The staff are friendly but communication is very hard can't speak English and only one persom you can communicate better and he can speak some english maybe he is the owner.Breakfast included bread butter and jam a thermos you can make hot drinks coffee or tea in sachets.only but for the price you pay very cheap and can't complain. We leave our baggage for our 2 days trekking for free and everything safe. Decorations in the breakfast area or lobby outside is nice Peruvian colors. With private bathroom and towels and soap included and you can ask more toilet rolls or soap extra. Many warm blankets in bed can be very cold at night. Each person going to Cusco just get prepared of getting suffering attitude sickness and breathless for at least two days of stay which is normal for first time tourist. Cusco altitude is 3,399 meter or 11,152 feet above sea level.

PolandThe whole object has a potential but is a bit neglected. Stuff speaks just Spanish which was a bit of a problem for me :)
I liked my room, very cozy. There is hot water, but the water pressure then is not very good. Nice area, just need to walk up to the hill from the city center.

United StatesHad to ask for toilet paper and soap, no towels... nothing serious if you're used to this type of place
Safe and quiet location in a charming part of San Blas neighborhood. Well maintained. Plenty of hot water in room with private bath. Bed was comfy, wifi was good.

United StatesThe street is closed to traffic. I do not recommend this place for that reason because it is on a huge incline. I would never have booked if I had known.

the hotel is basic but it’s cozy, has a great location and warm whater in the shower: basically, everything you might need while travelling in Perù. Great vibes. The owner was a great reference point for our staying in cusco: he was ready, kind and available even before our arrival, smoothly organizing transfers and tours. i do reccommend also the tours they do offer: fair prices and great quality. thanx again Washington.

United StatesThis was an amazing location in San Blas, Cusco with a great view of the city and a convenient location next to the Plaza de Armas of Cusco, the Plazita of San Blas, delicious cafes and restaurants, and the San Blas market. There is also a convenience store right across the front entrance which is great if you need to pick up bottled water, shampoo or extra toilet paper. For the price, it definitely gets the job done and we stayed here a full week without any issues. The hot water works, my advice is to turn the water knob as little as possible (literally maybe one centimeter) for the hot water to come out, since the water is heated through coils in the showerhead and too much water coming through the pipe will not allow the coils to heat the water thoroughly. The staff can help you with this if you have any issues. The staff here was very kind and helpful, especially Washington who was our main point of contact during our stay. Cusco gets very cold at night so I would recommend packing warm pajamas and sleeping with the curtains drawn over the balcony doors.

SwedenThere is nothing to do about this but the house is old, cold and a little bit noise but this is like most houses in the area.
Super friendly staff, we could store our luggage while doing multiday trekking, nice and simple breakfast, help with laundry service, free tea during the day, good wifi, and many blankets in the big and spacy rooms. Huge TVs for a day in bed. Hot water in the showers. Also, great location in San Blas, calm area but still close to Plaza de Armas. And another good thing, common kitchen!

United StatesI had a few issues during my stay at the hotel. Bathroom Smell. The sink in the private room had a persistent bad smell, which made washing my face or brushing my teeth unpleasant. A deep cleaning or pipe replacement is definitely needed. Noise: I could hear everything from the patio and other guests, arriving late at night or leaving early in the morning so earplugs are essential if you want a good night's sleep. Payment Issues: I paid in cash $, but they didn’t have change, which was quite frustrating, because I had to keep asking for it until I finally received it in soles, so I recommend bringing exact change if you plan to pay cash. Prior to my arrival, I communicated with a staff member via WhatsApp to confirm my early check-in at 6:30 AM, and they assured me my room would be available. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, which was frustrating after a long trip. Instead, they offered me a different room with a private bathroom, but at a higher price than my original booking. This added to my disappointment. Overall, while the location and cleanliness were good. Given these issues, I would not choose to stay here again.
Location: The hotel's proximity to Plaza San Blas is fantastic, making it easy to explore the area filled with shops and restaurants. If you have heavy luggage tale in consideration the location, you have to walk up the hills to get to the hotel. Patio: The patio is a lovely space, clean and inviting. Room: the bed sheets were clean and warm, that's a + as it gets cold at night.

China1.the location is up on the mountain and you need to climb every time in this 3400m heights which is very tired. 2.the boss charge me double price not according to the booking price even though he said he promoted my room which I thought it's free. If this price, you can find a better one near main square. 3.English communication is difficult. 4.Breakfast only before 9AM which is not info to the customer. Mainly because I feel the gay is not honest only ask for money, I won't recommend here.
