There was a coachroach on the bath when we arrived and the flush did not work but they solved it. Water in the shower is not cold enough. Walls are paper thin so it can get noisy.

One of the downsides was that you had to ring the bell to enter the building. This is great for security, but not if you have to wait 20 minutes outside

The location of Inka Wasi is perfect as it was quite close to the coast and the Lacomar shopping center. There was a lift, which was nice as we stayed on the 4th floor. The breakfast was simple, but nice nonetheless. The staff was friendly

Its a beautiful boutique property with a dorm room which had a beautiful large window to sit by and enjoy the sun. It is in a quieter part of miraflores. Not your typical backpacker hostel, more like a B&B. Great breakfast!

The guy who was kind of managing the place (not the owner) literally asked me for tips when we checked in, after i carried my backpack two sets of stairs when there is even a lift! To be honest he made us feel uncomfortable every time we interacted with him. I have read this comment from other travellers, it is very unprofessional. Also the reception is not manned all the time so you have to press the bell and wait for him to open which sometimes could take time and is not nice to wait on the street with children… Por favor digale al que trabaja que no vaya pidiendo propinas!!

The location is great and the hostel has a great charm, the area is amazing for families and you can walk to parque Kennedy which is full of restaurants and parks…we did NYE there and was amazing

The room we had initially booked was not available our first night; however, the staff got us moved over the next morning. Lima was very muggy, and this hotel did not have AC ( I was aware of that, so not a deal breaker). A fan would have been helpful to move the air around.

The location was great. I liked that it was a small hotel. For the price point, it was as expected. The photos are from the room we initially booked for 2 nights, but only got one night in.

The furniture (linen closet) in the room was old and partially broken, conditioner or space heater was absent, so sometimes it was a little fresh in the morning. But the beds are comfy and blankets are warm.

The staff is dedicated, they are welcoming and always ready to help their guests. Good location - the best part of lima - miraflores and san isidro coast and parks are in 5-10 minutes by foot. The best value for money, sometimes they even offer discounts for long staying. Hot water - immediately and for a long time. Its important advantage , because in some places you need to wait for it to warm up several minutes. Very good for its price.
