Why I give 8 is because it was not clean enough. At best it felt like someone had not used it for a while and they didn't un-dust it or check it before my arrival. This is not the owner's fault: a neighbor (across the street - he was sitting on a chair outside in the corner opposite the accommodation) had an aggressive dog loose and I had to wait for it to go away. He didn't even bother calling it even when it was following me.

One of the best value for money options in the area if you need to stay overnight from the airport. I felt comfortable inside after locking. I know tourists write that they don't like this area but I didn't find it any different from other parts of Lima. There was a playground a block away with kids playing when I arrived at 22:30. Friendly owners. Big space. Felt like a studio.

Was a bit hard to find the hostel, because there was no sign on the door. But friendly locals directed me. The room is very basic and kind of old, but for the price it's a good deal.

Very close to the airport. The area felt very safe, but a bit run down here and there. The girl who checked me in was very sweet and kind. I liked the area, very authentic. Nice basic restaurants and a park where kids played. Much more interesting than staying in an expensive hotel at the airport!

I wouldn't come there by foot at night, although it's 500m walk. It's pretty dodgy. It wasn't clean enough They have an electric water heating head. When I touched it, I got an electric shock! The towels were really horrible and didn't get us dry at all (more like beach towels) It was very noisy because of a party next door (it was weekend) + you hear airplanes - bring ear plugs No window, just the entrance door.

We needed a place close to the airport, so it filled its role The owner was friendly and she received us at midnight...

The electrics to the shower looked 'interesting' so I opted not to use it, my friend however gave it a go and received a mild electric shock.

the towels look lovely but not very absorbent

Carla and her father went out of their way to make our stay super comfy. they picked my son up at the airport for a small fee, ordered us up some pizzas, escorted us to a local shop to buy beer and snacks and dropped us off at the airport early - again for a tiny few compared to the taxis. the beds are comfortable and the shower is very hot (don’t turn the dial too far). we loved the decor and vibe. my husband has already returned for a second stay !

I booked this place because of the 8.7 rating thinking it would be OK to just sleep overnight. DO NOT BELIEVE THE HIGH RATING - this place is a total dump in a very sketchy/scary area! - The worse thing was the noise from the street (dogs burking endlessly, the planes taking off, the cars/motorcycles passing) and guests walking up by your "wall". so I could not fall asleep. The wall separating my room ( first floor) from the stairs was just glass so the light and the noise penetrated too easily. Have not been upstairs but the room on the first floor is just terrible. - The shower is a complete turn off so couldn't use it. - The bed and the pillow were uncomfortable. Would never trust a rating for a hostel again.

The apartment is 12 mins away from the hotel, uniquely decorated, and pretty comfortable. Price is great and host was nice accommodating my late check in.

The apartment is spacious, clean and very well equipped. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, they showed me around the area and even let me stay in their house to wait until check-in. The apartment is a 10 min walk to the airport and restaurants and minimarkets can be found around the corner. Perfect for a short stopover in Lima!

A water kettle would be nice, but that's complaining at a high level

The owner Carla is realy a sweetheart and makes you welcome immediately. I could also let my lugguage for free. The location can´t be better if you are having a layover. The room is spacious and superclean, the WIFI is one of the fastest I´ve had during my trip through Peru and the small terrace is a nice plus. I would definitely stay there again when arriving in Lima!
