Staff did not make much effort to communicate or connect, even though we had spanish people in our group. You felt as though no staff on sight.

Top floor rooms had charm, cute charming property, a bit quirky. Great breskfast but it was raining and had to sit under a tent, was a bit wet. Clean.

There wasn’t anything we didnt like about the property.

The location of the property to the main square and all the restaurants is fantastic. Fortunately and unfortunately, it is also super close to the emergency clinic, where we had to take out daughter as she was ill. The property itself it well maintained, unique and has pretty garden space with fantastic views of ruins in the mountains.

Real charm. Simple but comfortable and very clean. Hot water worked just fine. Breakfast was really nice. Simple, but good, and the setting was very pleasant.

Luisa is such a cute, quite pretty hotel so close to the main square. Comfy beds, very clean room! I really enjoy stay, and the staff was always so helpful and welcoming. A beautiful little mountain town to relax, and enjoy the atmosphere.

The location is perfectly situated just a block off the main square on a quiet street. Theres amazing views of the ruins from the rooms! My room was very clean and comfortable and honestly the best room I’ve had in the 6 weeks here in Peru! There’s a laundry facility located conveniently next door and the best coffee shop I’ve found in Peru one block over. The breakfast is great and the staff were all very helpful!

Compared to other properties the price is a bit higher than most. I think it was worth it for the extra space and garden, though i wouldn’t say the breakfast is “exceptional”, but it’s acceptable. The staff was just one young guy who did an okay job but not better than most places. A bit more friendliness at the check in would be feel more welcoming. We also couldn’t leave our bags for a couple of hours until our bus, which was a slight inconvenience, but manageable.

That I couldn’t stay longer!

I stayed two nights in November 2024, and fell in love with the Luisa hospedaje. The room was comfortable, and the location in Ollantaytambo is excellent, steps from the center square. But what blew me away was the charming garden, in which the delicious breakfast is served. Yoseline is a generous and caring host - and offers purified water for her guests, as well as various natural teas, whole wheat bread and BROWN SUGAR!! (the last two were so missed by me after having spent a few weeks in South America!) I arrived sick and she was incredibly empathetic and caring. She also gave me great advice about some hikes in the area.

Beautiful building in a beautiful village. Stones throw away from the square. Tons to do invite surrounding area. The staff were brilliant. Possible to wonder off the beaten track from here and avoid the tourist throng. Thoroughly recommend.

It seemed there was water shortages in Ollantaytambo and potable water was low during the early morning. This is not the fault of the hotel though.

Astounding views from the balcony! Clean, cozy and very friendly staff. Especially Peter who made sure every detail we needed was covered.
