How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Wynwood mentions many times in its advertising and messages to me that it provides a hotel-like experience in a house/apartment/home setting. Because of this messaging, I made a request, asking for several more of the provided small shampoo/conditioner/body gel bottles, that I've made to many hotels and some airbnb hosts before. Wynwood responded that it unfortunately only provides two pairs of bathing necessities, one for each of the two bathrooms this unit has. Since the convenience stores are nearby, it was not a huge issue. But I did feel let down since there were complimentary bottles and towels available and no indication that Wynwood would not provide more of those small bottles in its communications with me. Additionally, the small bottles in each bathroom are perhaps sufficient to use for two individuals for four days. But they were not enough for four folks staying four days. Just something to be aware of. Also, you can very clearly see into another unit's living room if they have their blinds down. There is also occasional loud sounds in the neighborhood late into the evening (10:00 p.m.) that can be easily heard within the bedrooms.
Great location with several small convenience stores located on the same or adjacent block you can go to to pick up necessities. It's a 10-minute walk to the coast, and a free walking tour meet-up location is just a 3-minute walk away. The value for this unit is excellent. An HDMI cord is tucked behind the living room TV that you can use to plug into a Nintendo Switch or computer. The floor looks a teeny bit grimy, but otherwise the space looks great. The walk-in closet in the master bathroom has plentiful drawers and space to store clothes and belongings. The en suite bathroom for the master bedroom is behind the master bedroom's door, making it a little hard to find at first but a welcome surprise when you do. The plugs in the room are compatible with three-pronged U.S. electronic appliances/chargers.

Not allowed to have ANY visitors in the apartment as per its rules and regulations. This was a bit annoying when you have come from overseas and you are catching up with family. Having said that they made an exception for me and allowed me to have a visitor come in for a couple of hours.
Location was excellent. Safe street in Miraflores. The apartment had plenty of room for the family and well furnished.

Cleanliness was not good at all. In some areas the flat was dusty and we had to report the floor as we had some hairs all around. We reported it and the cleaner did some work but it was still not 100%. They should hoover it instead of just sweeping. We could not find the iron. The living room TV remote did not work which reported it but this has not been sorted the day we left.
Great location in the safe area of Peru.

New apartment. It is a first floor. All the windows face a small front patio that is very noisy (parking entrance, a lot of echo) and very inconspicuous: if the blinds are not completely closed, all the neighbors see you. Very little sunlight enters. My stay was for work, and I requested a service ticket. They denied it to me, citing internal regulations. I spend several months a year in Peru for work, and it has never happened to me. This makes me think that the accommodation is not legal; If not, I don't understand it. I have had to make a demand to SUNAT (National Superintendency of Tax Administration), because I have to give an explanation to my institution.

Maybe we’ve been unlucky but one sheet totally looked used and had hair on it as well in the bathroom which is why we’ve used just one room. Further, not every apartment includes washing machine although stated so I had to pay the building machine myself. Also when checking in at night, the rooms changed so it it took the security some time to find the mistake.
The location was great, the apartment was spacious and the security was very nice.
