How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

If you’re a light sleeper, it might get a little noisy at night.
Everything was great. The hotel’s location is a 15 minutes walk away from the historic center. The staff was VERY polite and welcoming. The beds were super comfortable and we were surprised to see that they cleaned our room even though we only spent 2 nights. The breakfast was also included. For how cheap it was, the hotel’s services are excellent.

We had a wonderful three-day stay at the hotel in Cusco! Danny and Alejandra at reception were incredibly sweet and helpful, assisting us in organizing our Machu Picchu tour to four temples, which was well-priced and well-executed. The hotel’s restaurant and bakery offered delicious food and great cocktails at reasonable prices. The staff was attentive and polite, and our room was comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the area. If I return to Cusco, I would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommended!

They do not provide any soap or shampoo. Also I get a room on the 4th floor, a bit tiring to reach our room. Would be nice if you can provide more cloth hanger and hooks.
A warm and affordable hostel, warm interior, a bit rustic. I love the decor. One thing we appreciate the most is that they provide to-go breakfast because we had to leave early in the morning. Bedroom is proper and clean, bathroom also enough and clean.

We stayed here twice and the shower in the first room we stayed in had very little pressure, but the second room was better, so just depends how lucky you get with that!

We stayed here twice and the shower in the first room we stayed in had very little pressure, but the second room was better, so just depends how lucky you get with that!

Value for money is great. All staff is fantastic but Dani is definitely the best as she is always going the extra mile. perfect location close to everywhere. tours provided are very good.

I didn't like much that our room was in the last floor and there is no lift to go there. also if you stay in the room next to reception could be a little bit noisy sometimes.
I like the kindness of staff, rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good as well. Location of the hotel was perfect and in front of it there is a supermarket.

-Would suggest to switch on a a boiled water for tea on the reception earlier in the morning, as long as many guests going for excursions around 4am. We were bit confused when came and there's no hot water for tea and we need to wait. -Hot water in shower, maybe because we were back late, maybe it is regular - water was a bit warm, but not hot at all.
Great, Clean, beautiful place with a very friendly and helpful staff, everyone really did their best to make guests to be satisfied. Coffee, tea station is a great touch. Bakery shop and 3 leches was amazing. Thank you for our smooth stay

No negatives at all.
A great place to stay in Cusco, friendly staff, comfortable bed and I had a room with a great view of the mountains. Clean bedding and towels, great location in easy walking distance of everything. There's a breakfast included in the street level cafe, bread, ham, cheese, sausages, fruit, yoghurt, juices and cereal. There's also an excellent supermarket opposite.

The first night the water was really hot in the shower and we were unable to alter the temperature. We stayed in a different room the next night and the shower was lukewarm! Breakfast wasn't the best but wasn't really hungry anyway. Rooms were small but perfectly adequate for 1 night.
We flew into Cusco and checked into the hotel. We had a very comortable night in the hotel with a fabulous view across the city. The next day we left our main luggage at the hotel and explored the city with just a small backpack with overnight things, and in the evening took the bus/train to Macchu Picchu for one night which was just a short walk from the hotel so ideally placed, and not far for getting to the city centre either. We returned to the hotel the following night. Staff were very friendly and we were glad not to have to take our big bags for our short trip to Macchu Picchu.

We were placed in a room close to reception. It was difficult to fall asleep before 11pm because of the noise (children playing, people talking loudly, staircase noise, etc.). If you have excursions that start early (like us) I wouldn't recommend this hotel, or else refuse the room near reception.
I really liked the location of the hotel and the responsiveness of the staff.
