This is rustic but great location. Bungalows are neat and plenty of space. Waterfront was great. The snorkeling off of the pier was lovely. Breakfast - we didn’t eat there but looked like an extensive array.

Coffee was weak but drinks were good

Comfortable beds. Tim was able to book us the best whale watching excursion which included taxi pick up. In addition, he was able to get us e-bikes delivered directly to hotel. We were able to bike to waterfall. Decent walk to town with the best smoothies in town at Rainbow Smoothies next to Moorea Treasure. Accommodations were great and scenery was nice.

Arrangement of activities could have been better, unavailability of advertised transport and our booked tour did not turn up

Strange there wasn’t a kettle to make a tea in the room. Also strange they requested you drink bottled water when the tap water is certified drinkable per the map. I drank the water the whole time and had no issues.

The jetty was great - a lot of tours drop or pick you up from here. Staff were beautiful and super friendly. I was lucky and got to check in early as I arrived early. Swimming out the front was beautiful. You can walk to the supermarket if you need. I really loved this place, I was able to unpack my suitcase and feel at home. I was in a bungalow which I really loved.

It seemed quite dated and run down a bit

The sty was ok. The room was pretty cramped because there was an extra bed in the room. Lots of windows but a bit like living in a fish bowl as there were several cottages around us.

the restaurant was closed both nights I was there. Had to go and eat somewhere else. That restaurant was close but it was dangerous to get there and back - walking in the dark with no street lights on the side of a busy country road with no footpath. Not pleasant. The hotel gates are locked after 6.30. Good for security but there are no staff on duty. Everything closed up. No Bar, no snacks in the evening.

Wish the room would have had amenities for making coffee or tea in the room. Wish they would have had options for a smaller/less expensive breakfast.

Snorkeling directly from the beach was exceptional- saw many species of fish, sea turtle and stingray. Room was clean, cozy and private with comfortable chairs on the porch for enjoying the beautiful view. Staff was very helpful and friendly

Some of the pricing is quite hefty, especially for a breakfast but we noticed this across everything in Tahiti. Having bikes would be a great addition to staying at Kaveka. Just to be able to bike down to the shop to buy bread for breakfast. It was too hot sometimes to do that.

loved the restaurant over the water and the jetty. WE enjoyed diving off the jetty and swimming. We loved our little faro on the beach also. And the raw fish salad and the chicken dish were our favourites at the restaurant.

Weak WiFi signal. The housekeeping is definitely not the best, the room was poorly cleaned after our request and We even had an argument with the housekeeper who assumed we had taken the hair dryer just because it was not in the room and we had requested it.

It’s near the super market and the tour agency as well as the port of departure for the tours. Very nice view of the mountains and in general the staff is very nice.

When we arrived, we were given a modern studio outside of the property, beside a construction site, with no view. The bungalow we had reserved was listed in the traditional style with garden view. We had to argue for a change of room with the receptionist who relayed the manager’s several offers. The manager himself would not speak with us. In the end, we received a very nice bungalow with water view.
