Wonderful and kind-hearted people managing the place, I initially had booked just one night, but then I changed my plans so I could spend another night there. Great atmosphere and location, perfect for exploring the beaches around the west coast as well as hanging around the bar and socializing (that's what I did, but ofc there's more to do). Oh and they had the best water pressure I've seen in ages as well as starlink!! I would definitely return if I ever travel to Palawan again :))

Well built, cozy, and clean private bungalow with the nicest shared toilets & showers we’ve seen in a hostel here on Palawan! We felt instantly at home due to the communal bar/eating area and delicious food. Sheila offered to cook us traditional meals every night, and the best pancakes ever for breakfast😍. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the beach and uphill on the way back, but you can easily hire a scooter from them too. Close enough to town to stay before a flight out of Puerto.

Maybe the toilet and shower are a tiny walk away, but We got used to it straight away. And several showers and several bathroom available and clean, because of that we never had to wait for our hot shower after the beach 👌🏻

I met The manager and even the lady owner Recel. Both with great customer service skills and soooo willing to make our stay as comfortable and nice as possible. The staff was really nice 🙂

Rooms are small , and you would need a scooter to get about here the beach.has a very steep hill on the way back, and there is a beach 15 drive away, called Talaudyong beach which shouldn't be missed

We loved staying here , we stayed 7 nights and enjoyed the bar and restaurant area. It was very social meetings over people coming and going also getting to know the family that run the place , the shower and toilet block is kept very clean too

We wanted to rent a scooter to see other beaches and some other sights. They only had one scooter which was booked. You can’t see much without a scooter cos distances are long. They offered to drive us to another beach for 800pesos back and forth. It was very nice but then we missed a lot of places we wanted to see. This was quite unfortunate for us.

The hostel is very cozy and comfortable. We had our own room which was spacious. Met some nice people in the hostel. Clean room and toilets! Relaxing atmosphere.

Beautiful place! My favorite in Philippines by far. Staff are so friendly and helpful here. Accommodations are perfect. It's away from any busy areas. Great location to relax and enjoy nature. Beach is beautiful and a short walk away. Food here is some of the best I've had so far in the Philippines. I highly recommend this place before going to El Nido or anywhere else on the island. You won't be disappointed with this place, I had an amazing stay here.

Personally I enjoyed all of it. but if you’re the type of person who likes to stay with lots of people, with a bunch of action then you may not like this place.

The owners was amazing and it’s a nice small hostel - it’s where I met my friends who I continued travelling with! it’s very social and good food and great drinks! tThe area is very quiet - that’s why I chose it because I didn’t want to be in the city. Close enough to the beach to walk or they have a couple bikes to rent. the beach is beautiful with good food and drinks, can take surfing lessons/rent a board!

The staff was wonderful on every level. They helped with everything from food to transportation, and they were always possible to reach. We had lots of good talks over beers. The location is great with the beach only a 20 minute walk from there. The food was incredible as well.

I have nothing bad to say at all. Bring cash and all the essentials with you as there are no ATM's in the immediate vicinity.

The family atmosphere was amazing. I was welcomed straight away. The hostel itself is about a steep 20 minute walk from one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Worth the hike. The dorm was clean with a comfy mattress. There was a hot water shower. In terms of food, I'm a vegetarian and I was served some of the best food I have had on my trip at B&R hostel. If you are looking for a quiet retreat in nature, close to gorgeous scenery this is the place for you.

Negative: located right on the side of a fairly busy road with loud motorcycles passing by, no wifi in the rooms (at the bar only), very low maintenance is made on the land and very basic cleaning in the installations (restrooms, showers, rooms)

Positive: it's cheap, big rooms, air con and fan
