Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing we didn’t like, just things we would’ve liked improved such as the fridge having shelves, having a microwave, and fixing the toilet seat which was broken
The view and proximity to the water and other islands was great. The room had a well functioning aircon and two fans that were very appreciated considering the heat. Was also happy about the sink with soap and sponge as we were about the plates, glasses and cutlery we had to our disposal that were very clean.

ChinaThe air conditioning was broken. We went in March and it was barely tolerable with the electric fans, so I can’t imagine how it would be in the summer. There wasn’t toilet paper so make sure to bring your own.
The location was beautiful. It’s quite a bumpy tricycle ride to the property, through a local fishing village. We loved that we got to get a peek into local culture on the way. We had an amazing view of the sunrise right from the private island. We were told we could pay for grocery shopping and meals, but we didn’t try that. We bought our groceries and there was a small fridge to leave things in. Arranging the island tour was very simple with the help of our host.

United KingdomThe road going to the resort as we had to walk through the residential area at the back to go to the restaurants. Had to pass a fish pond that stank but I guess that's the municipal council's job to sort out.
Private beach. The room was okay but could do a lot better by adding simple touches.

Philippinesthe lock in the room is damaged. I dont think the beach itself is good for swimming, makati ung water. the place is hard to find as we need to cross residential area and the road is very narrow. Ang daming animals while we are eating outside pero okay lng kasi mababait din kaya mageenjoy ka magpakain ng animals.
I like that it is beach front. Complete facilities with wifi, free use of grilling equipment and gas stove. Rooms are clean. Staff are very nice. Picture perfect place! Pinapili pa kami ng rooms upon arrival kasi mukhang konti lang nagbook over the weekend sa kanila.

PhilippinesThe first room we booked was too small for 4 people. A bit noisy as the wall between other rooms are wood materials hence you can hear them talking loudly
The staff are very accommodating and helpful. Attends to your needs immediately. We also upgraded the room on the second night.

United StatesFor the first night, we were in a room with no air conditioning, very small room and shower/toilet was 30 feet walk away. Also, there were people drinking and talking loudly right outside until past midnight. Very below expectations and not worth the price.
Good location. Would be very hard to get to if you don't have a car or motorbike though. If you go here, make sure you don't get the tiny room that lacks air conditioning and lacks a private toilet.

France- too many animals live there, cats - dogs - turkeys - chickens… they all come to visit you for food, everyday, every breakfast- lunch and diner. - hide your food, don’t leave anything out of sight. There will be cats - dogs - chickens… stealing it. - you will find all litters around, on the floor every morning. Animals visit it every night and spread it around. - clearly they shouldn’t leave all of wanderers in, I spent my time fighting. - don’t expect to swim here, but the local white sand beach is few minutes away by walk. - no food be aware. There are some sari sari around , you can order food at some other resorts around.
- private beach 🏖 - really cute place, I would say very “instagramming “ - quiet and peaceful, loved the hammock and lunch table on the private island 🏝 - staff was really nice and helpful - excellent place to visit 100 island and for kayaking (no deep water and no waves)

Belgium- YMMV: my three friends slept well, but I was kept awake by the electric fan. This is a Philippines-wide problem, so unfair to judge the resort by it. Just be prepared. Likewise, make sure you have mosquito repellant.
+ Location, location, location. The view is amazing. There have clearly been investments in decorations, making parts highly instagrammable. It was distant enough so you're comfortably alone, yet close enough to society. Definitely possible for a weekend relaxing with friends + Close by to the Hundred Islands National Park, which was amazing + European-style toilet and shower + Very kind owners + They sell beer at acceptable prices, so you have don't have to go to town + Cute cats running around: the cats don't make noise at night

United StatesThe road to get to your resort was terrible. For almost a $100 per night, i was expecting so much more from your resort. You’re staff was wonderful, but the resort itself was not worth almost $100 per night.
