Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

TurkeyThere is no fresh water for shower unfortunately. There is only salty water from the sea. Hope they can get it soon. They can reach fresh water with artesian wells.
All staff so nice and helpful. Beach is always cleaning by staff, not easy job. Chef in the kitchen is so good but not much variety on food. If you ask more, they are ready to help. All inclusive meaning is not like others. Extra drinks, coffee or alcohol is not included but you can talk with Lau from reception. She is very helpful. Rooms are nice and clean. For housekeeping you have to tell to Lau. Very quiet and relax area. Just your private island. There is a village on yhe other side of the island for onky 10 minutes easy walk. For a nice change visit. Underwater life is not bad. Sometimes walk sometimes swim around 100 meters, so you will see nice corals and fishes. Sharing toilets and showers are clean.

FranceElectricity is solar and shut down at night fans, internet, electricity etc which is eco friendly but mainly due to reduced batteries and heat in the room gets up due to lack of ventilation of these traditional casas Seems a little overpriced or under-equipped
Remote small complex on an isolated island, the dream of a Robinson rooms and facilities directly on the beach in a palm forest under shade. A lot of details in the room, office and restaurant, magazines, curtains, mirrors, lamps very trendy but with good taste, probably the touch of the managers. Team is interacting with clients in a very soft manner and helps a lot.

SpainTransport in palawan is very uncertain and expensive so it can create a lot of stress if your time is limited. We paid more than 60 euros just to get from puerto princesa to the resort.
The sense of quietness in the middle of a virgin island. We were the only guests for one day even and the rest of the time there was only another couple. They do organize a lot of activities for you so either if you just want to relax on the beach, do island hopping, or enjoy some romantic time with you favourite one, they provide with all that is needed. Internet is very good and the staff ia super friendly and caring.

South AfricaI'm still reeling from the unforgettable experience my family and I had at Cayo Coco Glamping on the breathtaking Barangonan Island in the Philippines! *Culinary Delights:* The food at Cayo Coco was nothing short of spectacular! The Owner Ruby and other chef's creativity and attention to detail resulted in dishes that were both visually stunning and exploding with flavors. From the freshest seafood to the most tender meats, every meal was a masterpiece. The breakfast selection was a wide variety of options to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. Don't even get me started on the desserts! *Exceptional Staff:* The staff at Cayo Coco were some of the warmest, most genuine people we've ever encountered. From the moment we arrived, they treated us like family, catering to our every need with a smile. Their hospitality was truly remarkable, making us feel like we were part of a special community. *Unspoiled Beauty:* Barangonan Island is a hidden gem, with crystal-clear waters, beautiful white sand beaches, and lush vegetationand palm trees. Cayo Coco's glamping huts are perfectly situated to take advantage of the island's natural beauty, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding waters. We spent hours snorkeling, swimming, and simply basking in the sun's warm rays. *Island Hospitality:* The friendly staff at Cayo Coco were incredibly welcoming, sharing stories and laughter with us during our stay. We felt a deep connection to the island and its people, which only added to the magic of our experience. *In Conclusion:* Cayo Coco Glamping on Barangonan Island is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an unforgettable tropical getaway. With its world-class cuisine, exceptional staff, and stunning natural beauty, this glamping resort truly has it all. We can't wait to return and experience it all again! Ideal if you want to loose weight Furthermore, there is no one who cleans the rooms for days ! The staff is passive and lack completely of guidance. Management n Ali don to collect money. That’s what it is all about. Extremely disappointing and overpriced

PortugalWhere should I start? We had a terrible experience at Cayo Coco. We payed 432€ - 26.000 php, for 2 nights, for a cottage with garden view. When paying such an amount like that, you expect the bare minimum: -The boat that takes you to the hotel is in a terrible state. For us it was fine, but for someone older like our parents, that would be totally unacceptable -The shared toilets were in bad condition, there wasn’t toilet paper replenishment, the showers were cold and using salty water and everthing was pretty rusty. Not well maintaned at all. -The food was super basic, very minimal and with limited choice, beverage choices also very limited -They don’t have room cleaning service - they don’t make the beds or tidy up the room - for 432€ I was expecting a bit more -They don’t have bed side tables, I had to drag one of the chairs so I could use it for my glasses, books, etc. -The staff was laying down on beds or on the phone, when there is so much they can do, like look after the guests, try to sell food & drinks from the menu, etc… -I also had around 8000 php when we got to the hotel, that disappeared from my wallet - BEWARE of this and don’t leave things unattended. The rooms don’t have locks. -Overal, it’s a shame that this place is so poorly maintained, it could be a little piece of paradise in the nature, but ends up to be a TOTAL rip off. If you stay in the very cheap huts, I guess the price is fair for what they offer, but if you want to go a bit more upscale. This is not the place. They practice mid range/luxury prices and they offer extremely basic services. Don't waste your money here, there's so many other beautiful places in the Philliphines.
It's an amazing little and remote island, perfect if you want to rest.

PortugalThe boat to leave the island was 1 hour late but the owner, to compensate, gave us a free lunch.
The location is perfect with a private beautiful beach. You can also do some trekkings and visit a local village. The food is really good each meal different. The rooms are also beautiful made of natural materials like bambu. The owner is very nice and we had the opportunity to meet two very friendly girls who were livening up the space and organizing activities. Overall, amazing.

Saudi ArabiaThe island-hopping tour can be much better designed. One night there was no water to shower. There was rainwater available in a bucket, but my wife and I had to carry the bucket to the bathroom ourselves. I get the feeling that the management are very professional and know what they are doing, but the local staff have a long way to go and much to learn about the needs of guests.
It's a beautiful place and the management are working miracles in this remote location. Thank you, Ruby - you were great! There was a mix-up with the dates, but to compensate we were given a free upgrade to bigger units.
