I didn't know the room didn't have a window until after I booked it, but it wasn't a deal breaker. Like in Puerta Princesa, the bed is murder on my shoulders and knees. It's a little more pricey than Puerta Princesa, but it's still worth the stay.

The beach was beautiful 😍 Local shopping was great. Food was good and the staff were over nice. They offered to carry my food to my table.

Modern and spacious rooms, very clean. Great location, better than expected, right on the beach, great views from top floor hotel terrace. Shops near by, nice restaurants. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Everything is walking distance. Transport from airport and back was smooth and easy.

Perhaps the curtains could be thicker to block out the light. We were in a corridor where the lights stay on all night. Sometimes it was hard to sleep because my brain thought it was still day time :)

Astoria Current has so far been the best resort we have stayed in. The service was exemplary, over and above what was expected and at a very fair price. We strongly recommend paying for the VIP transferring from the airport to the resort. Astoria bus from airport to port, bypassed the long process of checking in line of the long queue at security, then straight onto a speed boat that took 3 minutes to the island then Astoria bus to the resort. It was seamless and completely stress free. Once at the resort, the staff were all so professional and friendly and would jump at any chance to help. We even got a phone call every couple of days to ask us if we needed anything and to see if we were ok. We also decided to take advantage of their massage service. And we were so pleased we did! Swedish massage on the first day and as it was so good, the hot stone massage on the last day. Our bodies were very happy with us. Their clear goal was to make their customers stay as stress free as much as possible. This was very much achieved. Would most definitely recommend Astoria to anyone that would listen.

Dinner buffer could have been more selection. The food was dry for Philippine night buffet, it's not worth it for ₱1150 Also all beverage should be included and more selection , I ask for green tea and it cost ₱150 considering it's a buffet.

not a vast amount to grumble about, quite a nice hotel in a nice place.

From the minute you arrive at the property, we were greeted by a wonderful receptionist, very polite, very helpful, a great asset to the astoria brand, the room was nice and roomy with no window, but a big double glazed door, quite a decent set up, very clean and well looked after. we enjoyed the room when we were in it. Ideal location, loved the location, breakfast was wonderful also, we really enjoyed our breakfast with loads on offer.

A deposit was charged (not frozen) and still in the process of return, although I had used hotel services for a larger amount of money, and that could have been partly covered by the deposit. An inconvenience, not critical.
