Cleanliness. Room was not well maintained because there is no room service. Water pressure in shower is very low. There are mosquitoes in room and toilet. On walls there are blood spots from hitting mosquitoes (which actually is very easy cleanable), would be nice if staff cleaned them before guest arrival.

Location, location and once again location. We booked this hotel knowing that we are paying for location and the rest is average. Vanilla beach is really nice and calm beach, with cafes, massage service, shops and around ~8min walk to tricicle service.

When you stay for a couple of nights it would be nice to receive clean towels. But we didn't ask for it either, so nothing to complain about!

For a beach hut, this was better than expected! Very clean inside and all the facilities you need. The staff is super friendly and assisting you with carrying the luggage where needed.

Perfect Beach Hut Escape In Paradise!

The property doesn’t make it clear that they don’t service your rooms (cleanliness, and linen) during your stay. So often had to ask for new towels. Also naturally you get a lot of sand in your hut so longer than two night stays can be quite annoying. We stayed for three nights. Our requested room type was not available when we arrived, which was fine by us. We were given the option to stay in another room type for a night and then switch, or to take the available room for the duration of our stay. We took what was available for our stay but they on our last day they asked us to switch rooms due to the incoming check ins. This just spoilt the experience ever so slightly as it was a bit unfair as I would have been accommodating had they asked us on the start of day 2 instead of day three. Other than that I’d highly recommend to stay there. You won’t regret it!

We loved the beach front aspect of the property and the location and that it was a quieter part of El Nido but still easily accessible. You are able to see the sunset nicely further down the beach and the staff are pleasant, helpful and welcoming. They assisted us with our luggage on the beach. They also able to arrange the pick up from the ferry to the property.

It was really difficult to communicate with the owner and staff was never near. When we arrived, we had a bee and a big spider inside the bathroom and no one was available to help us with that. We asked to change the bed sheets because there was some kind of animal that were pooping in our bed and the second night on the floor and asked for more toilet paper and coffee and they brought only the toilet paper and coffee without changing the sheets. Nevertheless, we have to keep in mind that we were in an island, next to the beach and animals are everywhere. We only think that the room should have been better cleaned before we arrive. Besides that, we had an amazing time there and would book again and again.

The view was stunning and the hut it's really near the sea. It's wonderful to have the morning coffee on the huts balcony and watch the sunrise. And the sunset is amazing as well.

    1) No room cleaning. 2) Very noisy aircon. 3) Bathroom need some serious TLCs. 4) Very difficult to access the room. The only way is to climb some improvised steps made with bamboo and filled with sand. 5) Electric sockets not allow to plug anything else than two flat pin Philippines plug type.

The room has direct access to the beach. A small terrace, shared with the next room, has table and chairs to enjoy the sunset. The place is very quiet even if there is passage of beachgoers just in front. Room is very clean with simple amenities.

As some previous review say: the water in the shower does smell a bit like iron (I wouldn't drink it) but it's fine, you'll survive :D The beach dogs are indeed fighting something in the middle of the night or at least barking, but just put earplugs and you'll be fine. You can hear the zipline during the day, again it's a minor inconvenience and it doesn't happen at night so all good. Not something I didn't like per say, but good to know: there's no desk or reception, you just arrive and hang around to find the host haha

Location is amazing, literally on the beach. Huts are basic but very clean, you have everything you need and it's just good vibe. Very peaceful to just sit on the porch and listen to the wave with amazing water view! AC works super well and that's important to note!

One step and you are in the water

The romm is basic and clean, you have all that you need-shampoo,teeth brushes, slippers, coffee and a kettle for hot water. it is right on the water, you can hear the waves in the night. You need to know that to reach the place you stop up to Mcdonalds, and from there you have to walk 7/8min.Also there is no internet connection only when you go down to the beach,so be sure that you call the property with exact time of arrival so they can wait you there and to help with the luggage.

The only problem is that you have to walk along the beach (5-6 mins) to get to the huts I ended up dragging my suitcase along the beach then just left it at another resort on the way to go and get someone from the beach huts you may just have to pop your head behind the huts but they are always there they kindly came to get my case for me and when I checked out on the way back no problem they carry your case for you just see if you can arrange before hand that they can meet you to help with your case to be honest this is not their fault as all of the resorts along there are the same there is just no other way to get to the accommodation.

First thing came to mind was very clean and cosy as soon as I walked in. Really spacious although it was just me bathroom is very basic shower is next to the toilet but seems to be a common thing in Philippines. Bed was super comfortable and you get a proper blanket and good pillows. View is just amazing right on the beach you can sit out on the deck watch the sunset and there is a really cute dog I think he belongs to them who sits out on the deck with you he is very sweet. Also there are a couple of bars and restaurants next door but if you prefer a buisier vibe it's only 10 mins on a trike/ tuck tuck to go into town which was 150 pesos so like £2.50 (very cheap!) Very easy to get as they are lined up outside the McDonald's. Overall very pleased I would absolutely come back I think it's family owned and the guys are really nice and friendly.

the plumbing was Spartan, but we managed well.

The huts were in the ideal location on maremegmeg beach. The accommodation was simple but well appointed and the veranda looking over the beach was just perfect. the sunsets were spectacular! worth noting it’s a bit of a walk along the beach to get here and if you need to go into El Nido town it’s a quick trike ride. we really enjoyed our stay in this little paradise.

The wild dogs fighting outside in the middle of the night woke us up every night. Staff was almost non-existent. we had our room made up once in 4 nights, no replacement water etc. Had to ask if I wanted replacement coffee, toilet paper, towels or to have the room cleaned. It have been nice to have these things replaced each day as the host was not so easy or to find and not always present. I think it was rated to high on Booking

Great location at the quiet end of Maremegmeg Beach. You can hear the waves rock you to sleep. the water is right outside your door step and beautiful sunsets just down the beach. A very cool cabin feel on the beach
